This game is very fun as a toy, but not worth $20 as it isn't very extensive of a game. I purchased the itch.io version of this game before it came to steam, and the Steam version added a little bit, but doubled the price from $10 to $20. The gameplay loop is just going to be watching your villagers do stuff and there's not much in the way of objectives or even complexity in the interaction between features in the world. Once you've seen one war you've seen them all. Don't get this game unless you have money to burn, because $20 for a toy that lets you watch essentially the same thing over and over again is not worth it.

Excellent game with DLC, the base game is pretty ♥♥♥♥ so please at least get Brave New World
