Easily one of the most gorgeous games I've played, really hit the spot for me.

The gameplay was pretty solid as well, with tight controls and well thought-out levels.

Perhaps a bit on the short side, left me wanting more. It did, though, leave a lasting impression, and I still remember the game years after I played it, which says it all really.

Overall, I enjoyed my time with this one and would highly recommend it!

Quite possibly the biggest surprise in my 1k+ library. I went in expecting a quick gimmick, but ended up with 50+ hours, all of which I thoroughly enjoyed.

All in all, an amazing game, with just the right mix of nostalgia, engaging storyline and interesting, varied gameplay.
To top it off, the art and soundtrack were great as well!

Highly recommended!

A lovely mix of puzzle and action set in a beautiful world that absolutely oozes with charm. Loved every minute of it!

To top it off, the music is simply great (as well as the voice acting), and the feel of the world and it's interactivity are just amazing. Kudos to the developers!

P.S. Be sure to knock on every door, in most cases hilarity ensues.

I have fond memories of playing Mahjong as a kid, and am really happy to have this game in my steam library!
The developer did a really good job, the design is clean and very easy on the eyes, and there are lots of themes to choose from. The music is also nice.
No annoying timers, just a very relaxing game, perfect for a break from work or intense gaming (though it can get challenging at some levels).

Plus, the game is localized in many languages, including Serbian (where I'm from), so it's also perfect for non-english casual gamers of all ages (like my dad, to whom I've gifted a copy already).

One of very few games where I immediately jumped into NG+ and haven't stopped playing until I got all the achievements. I really enjoyed this game and am absolutely boggled to see it has a mixed rating here.
Highly recommended for any fans of Gunpoint or turn-based games in general.

Early Access Review
This has somehow become my go-to game when I just want to zone out.

I keep coming back to it, and am enjoying almost every aspect of the game.

The gameplay is extremely solid, movement is fluid and the gunplay is very well done.
The achievements add an extra layer of fun, as they bring new game modes and add some good challenge (if you are a masochist like myself). This is probably the only game in my library that I am really trying to 100%.
The visuals are right up my alley, as I like the minimalist look, and as a bonus, the game can run well on pretty much anything. The sound is also pretty decent, although the music could be better.
Weapons and items are very varied, and each serve a purpose, making it fun to play with different (although random) builds.
The randomness is a double-edged sword, as the game can be very unfair sometimes and the odds can stack against you very fast (having difficult enemies and a layout that requires you to clear 5-6 rooms at level 1 make getting through the game without taking damage nearly impossible). This does, though, hold true for most procedural games.
There are also some visual bugs, especially at the later stages, with missing textures, flickering and even invisible obstacles.
As the game is in early access, I expect these will be worked out at some point, and they don't really take too much away from the game as they are.

All in all, a very fun (and, if you chase all the achievements, quite challenging) game. Perfect to sink a few minutes in every now and then.

EDIT: Finally, after more than 40 hours in the game, I have all the achievements! All I can say, Dark Souls was a breeze compared to this. :)

Very cool co-op game! I was lucky enough to win a beta-test version of this game in a giveaway and got to play it a bit ahead of launch here on steam. It was a real treat.

(TL;DR at the bottom.)
I'm a really big fan of co-op games, especially local co-op as I play them regularly with my wife, and have played most of what's available on steam.
This one seems to have that special something that makes it feel like we are actually playing together, and not just going through a single-player game simultaneously.
You get to create your character in a meaningful way, through decision making both in action and in conversation, and it really feels like a well though-out system. You also have real interaction between the pc characters, which defines the story and makes the game much more immersive, which is something often overlooked in co-op games.

Graphics-wise the game is gorgeous. I really liked the art style, and all the animations seemed well done. There were some performance issues on my version, had to turn everything down quite a bit to run smoothly and not look like slow motion (although I did play on a laptop, but a powerful one), but once I got it going - it was awesome! I expect the final version will be more optimized and run better, and I knew this was just a beta version, so no points lost there.

Gameplay is interesting, if somewhat simple. I can't really judge anything yet though, as I've only scratched the surface of the game. I like the dynamics of the character interaction, but really need to see the game through before saying more (I'll update the review when I finish the game). The only thing that bothered me up to this point is how slow the boxes are moved, pushing them takes forever.
Controls are simple enough and work great, both on keyboard and controller. The game also supports using a smartphone as a controller, which is awesome. I haven't tested it yet, but will update the review when I do.

The storytelling is also one of the strong suits of the game, for some reason it reminds me of Steven Erikson's The Malazan Book of the Fallen. You also get to shape the story, both past and present, as you make dialogue choices. Again, I haven't gotten very far yet, but I can say my expectations are high.

All in all, one of the best co-op systems I've had the joy of playing and look forward to discovering everything this game has to offer!

TL;DR - I haven't really played enough of the game to get to know it fully, but from what I have seen, I'm pretty much ready to put it in my top ten coop games list (or even top 3 if it keeps going as strong throughout).
Great art style, great storytelling and awesome real co-op. Recommended to anyone who enjoys co-op games!
