Rocket League is the most balanced videogame you will ever play. Either you are better at car soccer, or the other team is better at car soccer. No strings attached. There is no pay-to-win or any way to obtain an advantage. It is completely skill based. This is what makes the game exciting for me. It is also a very accessible game. There is crossplay between all platforms, so I can play with my Xbox friends or even my little brother while he plays on the Switch. The only RNG element left in Rocket League is which side of the field you spawn back in on after you get killed, left or right. I recently hit Champ 1, and getting better at this game feels rewarding. It's a cool game to get better at. After playing first person shooters for 10+ years, and constantly being destroyed by people who are higher level, or have better guns, or get better RNG bullet spread, it feels good to have a game where I take full accountability for every goal scored and every goal that gets scored against me.

TL;DR:
If you want a fair, fun game to get better at and enjoy with friends, this game is for you.

If you want to blame your own failures on elements of a game that you can't control instead of taking accountability, this game is not for you.

Hands down one of the best singleplayer games I have ever played. Purchased below zero, still waiting on that ♥♥♥♥.

This game is so incredibly fun. Ping is a little bit high but doesn't interrupt the gameplay. Overall a very fun 15$ and a great time with friends.

it makes you laugh, it makes you cry. ultimately it'll die off, but for now it is very very fun and is a great way to spend your time. i hate it.
