Alyx is a great game for showing off what VR can do. It is a great game for showing that you can have an engaging story with really high end graphics and lots of usage of what VR has to offer.

Unfortunately for me, it became a slog. It became something I had to force myself to finish, because it felt like the story was spread too thin and the puzzling was spread too thick. I felt left alone with no dialogue far too often, and I feel as if the game could have been shorter and I would have enjoyed it more.

HOWEVER, it is still a game I'd wholeheartedly recommend getting - I've gotten 11 hours of challenging entertaining gameplay out of it.
