I've 100%'d this game including the new achievement from the Rogue mode that recently came out. I have to say this game was absolutely mind blowing in terms of what it allows you to do. The movement, the feeling of the guns, the exploration and the variety in arenas and the scale in which the main campaign takes you through is absolutely ace. I don't often stick around to see a game to total completion but this one had my attention. I loved how the game slowly revealed itself and gave you more options to play it as you discovered new perks, weapons and character upgrades. Having complete freedom in those things really let the flexibility of the systems be highlighted, and as someone with a lot of experience in arena shooters, let me feel at home.

Highly recommend this one, my playtime let me see everything the game had to offer + the new roguelike mode.

I've always been saying to my friends: There needs to be more competitive/fighting puzzle games. Games like Tetris Attack, Super Puzzle Fighter, or Bust a Move have constantly been in my library or installed games list because they're so easy to pick up, but extremely difficult to master and dominate.

Heroes Never Lose definitely fills that gap that I've been asking for and with tasteful flair. The setting of a world where (almost reject) superheroes gives a quirky humorous tone that immediately welcomes the player. It plays very close to super puzzle fighter but with special abilities that each character possesses. The online works great, and is a welcome addition to this type of game as you'd typically play against someone sitting next to you [which is obviously the best way to play].

is good, get it

Dis gaem. It's all about collecting the items. Such a simple premise brought on one of the most fun and addicting rogue-lites I've played in recent times. Also another great Co-Op game, where in that case, you are forced to divide the items between your team's classes. I was surprised to see how fast I memorized each of the items! They each give unique effects and can even stack (this is the best part). Best memory with this game was having the kill enemies to turn them into ghosts item on each of our team-mates. The sounds were terrifying and awesome. Would recommend 10/10 would play again

Early Access Review
Saw this game randomly on a video and thought it would be a nice little fun game. Little did I know that every emotion I knew I had would be coming out of me at every instance this game offers. The game's premise goes off the main title: You are speedrunners. Your goal: to run speed-ily. The mechanics are very close to being a 2D MarioKart. So slap on three other friends and you're having yourself a yell-fest. Tension, frustration, sadness and joy are all had (Just trying to connect sometimes!). The item balance isn't always perfect but if you know the maps well enough you can come back from almost anything. I highly recommend this game to friends that play in a group of 3-4 people, it's given us more than enough replayability.

Was pretty skeptical of the rental system when I first entered the beta, but on release they had "premade" items that included some stuff you'd only be able to get later on for pretty damn cheap for a day. I realize I wouldn't be playing this game constantly so getting what I want for a short period of time actually works out for me. Now, the game isn't necessarily "pay-to-win" as some are worried but I only have one gripe: the incendiary ammunition. Simply put 110% including 3-second afterburn. But it ain't that bad. Try it out.

Awesome game to introduce people into the roguelike genre. The humor is especially great, and the wacky sound effects and random happenstances make this intro-level roguelike one-of-a-kind.

Memorable music, great gameplay, tough collectibles, classic 8-bit graphics. Need I say more? This amazing platformer was a smash hit and recognized by every gamer worth their salt. Why haven't you played it yet?
