Update - 2019: Wow, its kind of weird reading this damn thing like 7 years after I had written it. Am absolutely going to keep it up for posterity's sake. I still like writing short stories, I still love phở, and I'm still an unabashed nerd. Brussel sprouts are alright when they're roasted. Absolutely not when they're boiled.
