This game answers the question that nobody was asking but everyone should have been:
"What happens if you take DOOM combat mechanics, mix them with the random loot from Borderlands and turns the whole thing into a CO-OP roguelite ala. Risk of rain?"

Turns out the answer is: Fun! Fun happens if you do that!

This is undoubtably one of the best looter-shooters I've played in a long while and refreshingly I could play it PvE in CO-OP with a friend. Most of the games mechanics are pretty tight, and the rest of them I'm sure will evolve as the game progresses through development. I've had a lot of fun with this little game and I'm super looking forwards to the updates of the future!

It's not currently the longest game in the world, but I'm sure it will get more content, and I've already spent almost 20 hours in it hanging out with a good friend, and I could spend more if I wanted to experiment with all the different loot, ability and skill combinations.

The artstyle is also very striking. Very styilized but also very clean, clear and pretty.

It's more Borderlands, you won't find much innovative here, but it's more Borderlands, and Borderlands is good, so more of it is good.

If you don't want more Borderlands, this isn't for you

One of my all time favourite games and the king of the looter-shooter genre

Probably one of the best games I've played in recent years - It's not a Tripple-A ultra graphics shooter RPG, and it shouldn't be, it's a technical problem solving game with fantastic gameplay - on top of that it's probably one of the most well supported games. In this day and age of bugs and developers who vanishes without notice, this team has stayed dedicated to this gem for years on end and it shows.

I've played this game countless hours before it came to steam and I'm still playing it. The devs have spent so much time refining the gameplay experience and the new player experience that it's not terribly hard to get into and it flows nicely.

This is the game that inspired and continues to inspire and be the gold standard for all the other factory automation like games like astroneer, Dysonsphere program, Satisfactory, Hydroneer, Master of industry etc. Basically if the game has a conveyerbelt or similar it's probably at least partially inspired by Factorio.

The 2.0 release has yet again added some big quality of life things as well as a couple optional first party mods in form of Quality components.

The Space Age expansion adds many more hours of content on top of an already great game, but I would have wished that all of it was as interesting as the base game, and it just quite isn't. It's fun, but there's a lot of untapped potential that I hope they start tapping

I've had a lot of fun with this game, it has redicilous concepts for everything from the abilities/skils to the monsters and items, and I never get tired of hearing "HAYWIRE!!"

If you like strategy, and grand political schemes, this is the game for you!
