Against the Storm cuts a fine line between a comfy cosy city management sim, and a tedious yet rewarding RTS / rouge-like. If you enjoy both of those aspects, then you may fine tune your preference through the difficulty setting on every expedition you take, allowing you to play to your comfort level at any time and challenge yourself when you feel like it, which I value greatly.

You will find it consistent and reliably fun, hard to burn out on, and the progression system paced perfectly for keeping up with the updates and avoiding an overload on yourself.

Great game, I'll keep it installed.
