Most awesome tower defense game ever. There is a tough difficulty curve, but I've never felt cheated or forced into buying the DLC. In fact, I've beaten all the levels (even on Nightmare) without it. There is tons of replay value with this game due to the sheer number of weapons and traps and maps available.

I love this game from the humor to the artwork to the gameplay.

The only thing I felt it was lacking was co-op, something that the second game brings in.

For me this doesn't have very much replay value, although some would argue otherwise. There is some highscore chasing for those are want it, but I simply wasn't interested.

On the other hand, I was sucked into the world of Bastion from the start. If you are a gamer who likes story and atmosphere, this is a must-buy (it is also frequently on sale). This is one of the most powerful games I've played in that regard.

Although it is an awesome game, it isn't really my thing. Platformers in general aren't very fun for me. But the controls, even on a keyboard, are crisp. I know that when I die it is my fault, not some bug or glitch. For platforming fans who like difficult games, it is a must buy.
