I really liked this game for the first 5 hours or so. The art style, audio, and pace (slow) is a nice change. There is lots of promise of depth, but it just isn't there right now. After about 7 hours or so, there is a lot of waiting, and repeating of the seasons re-allocating villagers from one job to another, without much else to do. I do like the tech tree, which is a nice change from Farthest Frontier, as well as the organic layouts and the burage dynamic. I can also forgive the lack of stats around how much is produced/consumed by what. This game will be amazing in another 7 person-years or so. For now, I think I'll revisit Farthest Frontier to scratch the complexity itch I'm craving.

Feels like a real grind. UI is awful. Interesting idea, but not very well designed. Places a lot of emphasis on optimisation rather than really engaging you and having interesting dynamics. Grind through the tech tree to make more and more money with more things as inputs to other things. This might be good for people that enjoy Factorio (which I haven't played myself) and want something a bit more macro.

This is the only good game on Steam.
