The atmosphere, characters and story seem really cool but there is a noticeable lack of polish. Probably a rushed release.

In any case, it's very playable and pleasant if you can get over a few kinks here and there.
Worst case scenario, wait a little bit longer for the devs to fix the problems and then buy the game.

It feels great, gunplay is amazing, environments are incredible. Performance is OK on a Ryzern 5600x, 3070 Ti and 64 gigs of RAM. I don't really know what the negative comments are talking about since I haven't encountered a single crash after I downloaded the shaders and restarted the game. I think lots of people forget to restart the game after the shader build.

Maybe just wait a little bit just in case but it's really obvious the devs are patching the issues as we speak and it's really not as bad as people said at first at least.

To be honest, it feels like a graphics overhaul mod for Warband and I can't shake that feeling.
It's certainly better but it just feels very similarly clunky. I haven't played for super long but for me it kind of ends up being hunting bandits to level my army up, constantly attending tournaments to get cash (which is kind of silly to be doing all the time, but it is easy money and it feels like an exploit) and then using all of that for items for my character and for leveling up the army - and then perhaps besieging a castle. That ends up being fairly repetitive very quickly. Combat also feels exactly the same as the previous games, I couldn't notice any changes in mechanics and even animation.
I'm not sure if I'm even playing the game correctly, this is just my opinion and maybe I'm simply not the type of player that would like this, but after playing for 15 hours, I seriously have no desire to come back to the game. I feel like I've played it before.

I haven't played it in a while but I've been in love with it since Arma 2 mod.
The bad thing about it is that the standalone is pretty much the exact same thing. Just with better graphics, different gear and a little different engine. The map is the same and from what I see the game isn't making any noticable progress.

So yeah. If you loved the mod, you're still gonna love the standalone, if you didn't play the mod - watch youtube streams and see if you like the game. That's basically it.
