This is an excellent gem, that I would recommend to anyone.. The combat feels really goods and can be adjusted to be more or less forgiving, really effectively. The story is really compelling and the exploration is amazing. It almost reminds me of Hideo Kojima making a souls-lite game with actual quality of life settings.

Amazing game about the power of love and friendship. Very enjoyable action combat and a compelling story. I really enjoyed exploring all the maps to their fullest extent.

excellent game with extremely fun mechanics. As with any indie games there are a few clunky things and also some ways to break the game in unintended ways. But overall fun game similar to BOTW.

Very cute puzzle narrative game. the plot kind of sneaks up on you as you start to put the pieces together and then by the end you love all the characters.

As a fan of the series who has been playing since the first game this surpassed the Ezio trilogy (I find it hard to decide which of the 3 I like most) as my favorite Assassin's Creed game. The gameplay is extremely fun and rewarding when playing as both Yasuke and Naoe. The story is really compelling and well written. I wasn't expecting this game to hold up so well with Ghost of Tsushima still fresh in everyone's mind, but it stands up against it as a great game in it's own right. I still think playing as a samurai in the Ghost games is more fun than playing as Yasuke, but the stealth gameplay in Shadows is just that good classic Assassin's Creed fun that never gets old. With the freedom of switching between the 2 protagonists, this game should appeal to both the older fans and newer fans alike

good demo with cute characters and what looks to have a lot of mechanics. Definitely has a lot of bugs and the employee AI needs a lot of work. but so far it looks like it'll be a good game if they continue taking feedback

This game has the perfect combination of action RPG gameplay, exploration, and story. The combat feels fluid and becomes very enjoyable when you start learning to use your magic powers as part of it. These magic powers also effortlessly transition into their usage in the exploration of the different regions of the enclave. Exploration feels rewarding when you climb somewhere you would expect the game to shame you for an find a carefully placed hidden treasure instead. The story surprised me the most in the depth of the world and it's connections to the characters within it. The visual novel-esque dialog and handful of cutscenes were exceptionally well done and I felt the emotions behind each line of dialog. The characters had better portrayals of real people than I have seen in any AAA game. I have exactly 1 complaint and it is that there are some times when exploring where it is very easy to fall off a cliff looking for secrets, And the game heavily punishes falling off the map with the penalty as dying in combat. I found that very frustrating and made not want to explore some areas too close to cliffs so that I wouldn't accidentally lose all my loot.
