Made it to mainland and rage quit after one day. Mainland is exactly the same as newbie island but 10x larger and 10x more frustrating.

I mainly quit because of many many bugs and terrible game design. Technologically the game is crap, even with a RTX 3080 and graphics on low you can skip frames and graphics lag in the middle of combat. Not great for a PVP game.

Frustrations stacked up a bit at a time and became too much for me. I finally snapped when I found that my quest to get a CLASS was in the middle of nowhere with high level mobs everywhere. Why would you have to venture in a high level area TO GET YOUR CLASS?

- Very bad first impressions that drive off players.
- like 5 monsters in the entire game.
- 4 schools of magic with very little variation at all (I kept expecting new spells from drops at least, but nope).
- Lack of drops.
- Annoying mob ai, many of which aggro from across the map.
- Excessively grindy
- Maps and dungeons that encourage ganking

Seems to me this game was designed to keep you on newbie island much longer than 2 hours to limit refunds when you find out the main game is much worse and half-made.

The problem isn't even that it is early access. The problem is the game is for psychotic masochists. The risk vs reward ratio is ridiculous. You would have more fun getting a job and working 80 hours a week than playing this game. I appreciate devs trying something new but much of it is just bad game design.

If youre a low self-esteem troll and/or ganker you might like this game.

Thank you for your feedback, and you are right, Dwarrhan is not much different from the Island, except:
- professions (classes);
- crafting and enchanting;
- castles;
- and several Bosses per county;

In the near future we will be expanding the magic:
1) control powders of various types, depending on the elements;
2) support powders for the group;
3) attack powders, incl. AOE;
4) staffs as a separate mechanic will be added much later (4-6 months);

Regarding AI - you are right, we did not have the opportunity to introduce the desired variety to EA, but we will definitely devote time to this now that we have the opportunity to develop this project with greater resources.

RTX 3080:
Freezes are related to level streaming, and a video card will not help here. We are planning a patch by Wednesday, which will significantly fix this problem.

I hope you don't give up on the game entirely, and consider coming back once we've ironed out a number of weak points and new mechanics.

Yeah totally low effort, only 51 hours in-game and only wrote 300 words (the longest review so far). The devs themselves agreed with me. Low effort comment with wrong info.

this is a pretty low effort review with a lot of wrong information, good thing the devs are fighting back. This is a game that just released too.
