This game is great. If you played the first one, it is a must. It builds on top of the first game amazingly. The amount of text and VO that went into worldbuilding is kind of mind-blowing. However, I feel it was a little overdone on the talking to robots aspect. It started to feel a little overbearing towards the end and I found myself not doing it much towards the endgame.
Some additional thoughts(very mild spoilers):
The play areas are way too huge for gameplay purposes. However, it does make the feel of the game more grand and has a subtle story purpose.
The gameplay loop feels very different from the first game. The puzzles really dont get much harder in time. Only getting a little harder in the endgame.
The puzzles at the end add an interesting element that I loved. Even if they werent that hard. Makes me think of the possibilities in the DLC. Hope for a lot of creativity.

Game is good. However, the price is not worth the content in my opinion. Some levels require thinking but most you just try stuff until something works. The whole perspective idea could be stretched more. You just end up doing the same things you did a second ago just in a different enviroment. The ending was also not satisfying for me. The narrator basicaly explains everything to you rather then it being incapsulated into gameplay.

Soma has better story.
The Dark Descent is more scary.
Penumbra has better puzzles.

I am really surprised to say this, but the ending was so lackluster in this, I think even Machine for Pigs is more worth your time.

I was enjoying the game a lot up to the resolution of the tank puzzle. The whole millitary section was pretty amazing in my opinion, but after that point, the game went completely downhill. No freedom, no challenging puzzles, no interesting monsters, just story, it is truly like a different studio took hold of the game all of a sudden. What happened? And the story is so surprisingly narrow I am truly amazed that some people enjoyed it as much as they say.

The choices at the end are also laughable. It would actually be better to not give us any choice rather than choices that just show us 30 sec(or less) of scripted scenes followed by credits. It is also a chore for the player to experience these three endings, since the last savepoint is before a fairly lenghty scripted "boob" sequence.

If what you were looking for is a story-driven game with really uninteresting themes by all means pay 25 euros/dollars/pounds... for it, but If you were looking for an interesting amnesia game, you are out of luck.

This game is awesome. I replayed it 3 times now, 100 percent it once. I just got my new PC and looking forward to play it again on better specs. It is clever, sometimes funny, but most importantly, makes you think to get to solution. Replayability is what I enjoyed about it the most. Story is very linear but the collectibles make your path always a little bit different. Love it, looking forward to DLCs and Supraland 2. Keep it up.
