My dad and I watched every episode of Mythbusters together and were pretty obsessed. We watched it everytime the opportunity came up and it was 'our' show. Dad passed on July 1st, and on the Friday before there was a Mythbusters marathon on Science Channel. He only made it through a couple of episodes before he had to go back to sleep, but having that chance to bond one last time meant everything to me.

When I read the news about Grant, my VERY FIRST thoughts were "I need to call Dad" and "This is going to upset Dad so much," then the curtain fell and I remembered.

Thank you Grant, and the rest of the Mythbusters team, for everything you've given to those you never met. Thank you for giving us such a wonderful gift.
