I thought I'd spend 30-60 minutes for my first time playing the game... a little over 3 hours later, and the only reason I stopped was because I need a snack other than macarons and champagne.

I'm an orchestral director by day, so I was curious how far this would stray from conducting standards. There's some non-traditional choices in there, and sometimes the cues don't match the direction of the instruments/sections being cues, but the conducting language used always feels natural. I'm a fan of breaking from basic conducting patterns, and this has a healthy mix of both.

Turn it to 'hard' to really test your hand independence!

The preview trailer for Beat Saber is what originally convinced me to finally by a VR set (Vive) a few months ago, and I was kind of banking on this being as awesome of a game as I hoped for it to be. I was not at all disappointed. This seems much more finished game than you'd expect from "Early Access", aside from the limited song list. But any rhythm game starts out with a limited song list.

I'm already having way too much fun with this game, and I can't wait for the custom editor and new songs... still, this has enough replay value to get be through until then!

Every platform seems to try their own "social gaming center" these days, but Rec Room is certainly my favorite of those I've tried. By favorite, I mean, I practically live there.
