Except all the usual launch bugs, performance issues and weird stuff that usually gets fixed in the first months this game just doesn't feel good to play. It lacks any depth or character that previous titled had. Being someone that's played every game since 1942 I feel I have a grasp on what Battlefield always aimed to deliver and this is a big miss. Maps are badly designed and feels empty, even though the player count is increased to 128 players it feels more empty than previous games because the maps are so large. It doesn't feel rewarding playing infantry anymore. As many people probably agree on, specialists are a stupid addition to the franchise and only serves to sell more skins and should have only been kept to Hazard Zone. The game also somehow looks worse than BF5 and lacks many features that made that game good like crouch sprinting, climbing tall obstacles, proning on back etc. There's also weird design choices and integration elements that's missing like the removal of the scoreboard, not being able to pick a squad, joining friends etc. There's so many other missing features or problems but there's plenty other reviews mentioning all of them. I will keep coming back to check on updates but that core Battlefield feeling I was looking for isn't there and I'm not sure it will come back even with updates. But time will tell.

Edit: As of November 11th I've now reinstalled the game and played it for about a week. Last time I played was around launch when I did my initial review. I am honestly having pretty fun at the moment, unlocking weapons, battlepass things and what not. Finally using my 90 euros for the premium unlocks lol. The game is much more fluid right now, a lot less bugs and visual issues. My bullets actually hit people now which is an improvement. I've been playing a mix of conquest quick play and Noshar canals 24/7 tdm which is very fun and gives me BF3 throwback feels. The feeling of Battlefield which I mentioned originally is still lacking and as I expected, probably wouldn't magically come back and it's still missing the features I loved so much from BF5 but at the games current state, I would recommend my friends to get it (if it's discounted) and at least give it a shot.
