I've often dabbled in city buildings / management games, but end up constantly restarting playthroughs. I always find the early game to be the most fun - early game decisions feel impactful, and progress is swift.

Against the Storm is a game designed for me. by combining a city builder with a rogue-like structure, the game is focused around those early game decisions and setting up a productive supply chain before moving on.

I absolutely recommend this game to anyone who has a similar experience to me in these sorts of games.

If you like Dark Souls for the dark fantasy vibes and exploration, you'll like this one.

Mostly another Bethesda game, for better and worse. if you liked Fallout 4 / Skyrim you'll probably dig this.
