I grew up on Skate 3 and I want so badly to love this game. However, it's just not even close.

Also I dont know what or when the game got so unplayable laggy but it has been AWFUL over the last few days, I can barely skate. I'm running a 5070 with no issues in other games so Im not sure how they messed it up so badly.

This might be humanities single greatest accomplishment. I haven’t laughed as hard as I did playing this in quite a long time.

Quite easy to learn, although it can be a bit buggy at times and the hit registration can be a bit confusing. (sometimes you’ll hit a car and sometimes you can occupy the same space on the track with no hit detection) But honestly that’s part of the charm.

Cutting the map is difficult and big risk/reward, but pulling it off is a very rewarding feeling. I don’t have a lot of time in the game right now but i’m looking forward to seeing more of what Make Way has to offer.

Just as good as the original, and it's way harder. My only real gripe with this game is the lack of a mid run auto save. Or save at all (that I know of). This can lead to a 30 minute - hour run being completely lost in the event of a game or PC crash. Nothing more frustrating than making it to and fighting [REDACTED] just to have the run vanish. Otherwise, however, this game is quite nearly perfect IMO.

Honestly I am a bit surprised by all the very positive reviews from people who had previously played other LBP titles. I imagine it could be a fun game to someone who had no prior knowledge of LBP 1 or 2 (3 is awful), but as someone who has a special place in their heart for the originals this game just pales in comparison. It takes a few mechanics from the OG's like the outfits, but completely changed the gameplay. I played for close to an hour and I just couldn't get into the game. All this did was make me miss the originals more.

If you love the originals this isn't them.

An interesting take on both the restaurant tycoon/ fishing sim game archetypes, and it does both fantastically well. I will say the actual restaurant portion is my favorite and sometimes I will find myself leaving fishing early to go crank out some sushi. The game also has an amazing visual aesthetic to it and leaves you wanting to discover more. The only real gripe I have with this game is towards the end game I find myself farming for sharks and really not much else. (Easy for larger amounts of fish and the pay for sharks is quite good.) All things considered, Dave the Diver is one of, if not my favorite games to come out of this year.

a bunch of boring filler added in to make the game seem more full, still micro-transaction riddled. the new shot mechanic is awful for anyone that had played 2k in the past. many players have an issue (myself included) where they receive 0 VC after a career game meaning it's impossible to upgrade your player so whats the point. 2k refuses to help (why would they when the only option is to spend more money to buy VC)

hoping steam lets me get a refund so I don't have this cancer in my library anymore

fun game but very broken, havent been able to customize my ball or change resolution/fullscreen since download.

great game full of psychological torture.

lost all my in game characters along with all of my other unlocks, game also runs at 20fps on a PC that runs HD games at a constant 60+. Used to work fine, not sure what the devs did, not worth it if they dont fix it.

update: just put a 2060 in and it still runs around 25 fps
