This game feels like "You got your CoD in my Battlefield!". For a F2P title I've been pretty impressed with how much you DON'T need to spend money on it. All the unlocks that affect combat are available in-game and unlock simply by playing. Combat feels pretty good...faster kill-time than Battlefield but not as instant as CoD. The weapons all feel like they have a place with no "best" weapon. The skills are decent though some seem to be focused more on the extraction mode (which I don't play) than the other modes. All in all, if you enjoyed the BF games I'd definitely recommend checking this out.

Great fun with a few friends. We only do PvE but it's got an excellent combat system, great crafting, some of the best storage management I've ever seen in a survival crafting game and ton's of content. I absolutely recommend this to anyone who enjoys this type of game and is looking for something new to play.

Still one of my go-to oldschool MMO's. DDO follows a completely different style to any of the other MMO's out there, focusing on bite-sized adventures that combine together to give you a cool campaign to go through. It's got hints of p2w but it's entirely possible to ignore all of that and have a goodtime recreating that tabletop feel with a couple of friends. It's free-to-play so it's definitely worth checking out at least once to see it's it up your alley.

Probably one of the best combat systems of any of the major survival games. They added so much to the game since launch that it's still my go-to when I want to run around and kill things in a survival game. I do NOT play any PvP at all but for running a dedicated serrver for friends to do PvE this game is close to the best there is.

This has been exactly what I hoped for in a sequel to one of my favorite games. Performance has been fine for me (I definitely see slowdowns in cities but it's not affected my enjoyment) and I've been thoroughly enjoying my time so far. The pawn system is even more fun than it was in DD:DA and I love taking my friends pawn on "adventures". Combat is exciting and the game looks amazing. If you enjoy Monster Hunter / Elden Ring style combat and are a fan of RPG's then I can wholeheartedly recommend this game.

Early Access Review
Last Epoch strikes a great balance between the complexity of Path of Exile and the simplicity of Diablo 4. This shows in the skill trees (each of the skills has it's own tree), the mastery tree (similar to Grim Dawn), the crafting system, and (hopefully) the faction system. If you enjoy ARPG's then you owe it to yourself to give this game a shot.

It's like Valheim and Elden Ring had a baby and Conan: Exiles was the godfather. The building is probably the best I've seen in a survival game and the combat is fun and intuitive. It's got some of the normal early-access hiccups but it's worth the price of admission already. I can't wait to see all the additional content as it gets added. If you like survival games you owe it to yourself to check this one out.

This has been the most fun I've had in a long time with a souls-like game. It's not quite as punishing as some other games in the genre but still provides quite a challenge. The introduction of the "second world" gameplay really up's the enjoyment and provides a great expansion to the secret hunting. I played through this totally in co-op mode, as well and it works great and is so much fun! Seriously, if you're looking for a good souls-like and you've burned yourself out on Elden Ring, you can't go wrong with this game.

Great mech combat game with some souls-like bosses that can be amazing or terrible, depending on your level of frustration. I recommend not being afraid to switch up your builds to minimize that frustration.

I loved the original Remnant and Remnant 2 takes the gameplay from the first and dials it to 11. Tons of bosses, weapons and classes really drives replayability. Great game!
