Despite the game's troubled update history I joined after all that drama and the game for the most part seems to be in a pretty good spot. There are a lot of soft mechanics in this game that you won't realize immediately and can't be readily explained, but you'll naturally get a feel for them intuitively as time goes on. Not bad at all. What is bad is the cosmetics monetization system. There's some cosmetic parts I want to buy so I can download some cool designs from the factory which require those parts but as of writing this they don't let you purchase cosmetics directly, the cosmetics available for purchase rotate in and out of a daily storefront and you just have to hope that you see the part you want. At least some cosmetics you can buy using Robits, the in-game free tier currency, but I would pay real money right now if I could get that specific parts pack I need.
