Toonstruck is a point-and-click adventure game that has caught my eye for quite a long time now. I was quite glad that I bought it at a discount! Anyways, after playing this classic masterpiece which combines live-action and 2D animation, like Who Framed Roger Rabbit? and Looney Tunes: Back in Action. Here are my pros and cons:

PROS:
- An all-star cast?! Oh, joy! And I happen to find some familiar voice actors that rung a bell in my head!
-- Christopher Lloyd (who voiced as Judge Doom from Who Framed Roger Rabbit?)
-- Tim Curry (who, surprisingly, voiced Lord Dragaumus from The Mighty Ducks cartoon series)
-- Dan Castellaneta (who famously voiced Homer Simpson from The Simpsons cartoon series!)
-- Dom DeLuise (who voiced Tiger from An American Tail and An American Tail: Fieval Goes West)
-- Corey Burton (who, surprisingly, voiced the english dub of Doublehelix from Asterix and the Vikings!)
-- Jeff Bennett (who voiced as Johnny Bravo from the cartoon of the exact same name!)
-- Jim Cummings (who voiced as Mr. Bumpy from an old-as-heck cartoon, Bump in the Night)
-- Rob Paulsen (who voiced as Squishington from an old-as-heck cartoon, Bump in the Night)
-- and Tress MacNeille (who still voices as Daisy Duck from all that is Disney!)

- Lovely cast of cartoon characters, such as a bird-brain of a royal scientist and a malevolent villain.

- Puzzles and mini-games were very challenging, yet decently fair and possible to beat.

- Neat soundtrack that suits its cartoon-y atmosphere.

- Amazing cartoon references to find, such as WACME (which is a clear reference to Looney Tunes' Acme Corp.)

CONS:
- Some or most of the game were cut-out during its development. For instance, some of the bits on the high-quality trailer here were not found during gameplay, such as this Vincent Van Gogh-esque cartoon character.

- Mouse sensitivity is too 'wacky', if you get my meaning, making you try to move your mouse softly rather than moving it quite fast.

- F1 button doesn't seem to work, as every time I push it, it won't give me the options screen like it said it would do.

- No sequel? Aww... Better get some more people and fans of this game to make it a reality then.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My final verdict of Toonstruck is that I really enjoyed playing through this game for almost 6 hours time, plus it would at least give me lessons on how would I even try to make a game like this. The cutscenes were both classic and wonderful, from the live-action world to the cartoon world. For that, I would give it a 8.75/10.

If you like point-and-click adventure games such as Monkey Island and Discworld. Hurry up, buy this game, and put it in your collection already! You won't regret it!
