I had been keeping my eye on this game for a bit and when it came out of EA I thought it was worth grabbing it and seeing what it was like. Few days later and Ive finished the main story with all three characters and lost my weekend. Very heavy on the Diablo 1 vibe. Fun but challenging, without being super complicated.

If you enjoy turn base space combat, then I recommend checking this out. I have enjoyed my time with it to date.

I loved Amnesia and was really lookng forward to SOMA and I am glad it lived up to my own expectations. Whilst a different game, it still kept a lot of the core things which made Amnesia a great game. The key difference is that SOMA is much more focused on its story, it both aims to question what it is to be human as well as provide a much deeper world to explore with some choices to make, that play on your morale values. I see that they are adding a "safer" mode, but I would say Amnesia is a much scarier game then this and if you can stomach the monster encounters, I would advise doing so, as it adds to the horror of what happened.

Really enjoyed this, your choices change the game, to a point, but the feels.

Its civ.. its addictive.. need i say more?

Everyone should play this.. in the dark... alone... :D
