Feels much too like a reskin of FS15 (let alone FS17).

If you already own any other games in the series - stick to them. There really is no improvement with FS19. The maps are quite poorly designed. Game looks nothing like the launch trailer (to be expected, as most trailers are pre-rendered nowadays) - but you can't shake the feeling that this is a quickly done repackage with more contrast and a different lighting setup.

The controls were a little clunky and sluggish to respond, even when configured properly. None of the newer mechanics like farm building were explained, or had key configurations or tutorials or tooltips for them. When I did figure it out, the result was quite underwhelming, as there's little variety, and you seem to only have a very small area to place things - unless you put them in the middle of a paddock - with no roads.

Ravenport, the new US map is very poorly designed, full of hills and tight alleyways. Getting anything from the store to my farm was a real challenge, as machinery just didnt fit, taking the roads back - or when it did, I'd run in to some physics bug launching me 20m in the air.

At nearly $50 AUD - I cannot recommend this, especially if you already have any other FS games. You'll get a better experience playing those, and modding it to your liking.

A disappointing release from Giants.

I don't play online a whole lot (at all, really). Like many, I was brought to Arma from the orginal DayZ mod, which piqued an interest in Arma 2, which obviously then led into Arma 3 when it was released.
The 3D eden editor is the best in game / level editor I've seen for any game, and combined with workshop support, allows for endless hours of fun for creating different scenarios, or even just placing in a helicopter and going to explore the sights of the beautifully designed maps.

Early Access Review
Highly recommend this for a Zombie based sandbox/rpg/sim. Can only be made better by Cars, and NPCs, both of which are ever so slowly in development under the 'Do it once, get it right' principle. Would be good to hear more about these features from TIS, as they haven't been mentioned in some time.
