Played it a bit. It's aight

The game is just a recent gimmick executed in a poor way. It really falls flat after a few games.

Skill very rarely has any relevance to your standing in each round other than one game type, Hex-A-Gone. Otherwise, you'll be caught in a series of entanglements with seemingly mindless players. You'll be at the mercy of the latency, no matter how good your internet is, of other players grabbing you from 15-feet away and launching you into oblivion.

Some games are absolutely pointless gimmicks. You can tell someone had an idea that everyone thought was cool and they implemented it without a second thought. They maybe should have asked themselves, "Will this game effectively eliminate anyone at all?" The two that come to mind are a Memory game and a Wall game.

Team games have no place in this style of game. To arbitrarily set up teams with no communication, no cohesion, and no investment in each other is very troubling to those who are trying. Constantly being teamed with AFKs or people that immediately turn around and steal their own teammates tail will leave you feeling at a loss with the community this game attracts.

Connection issues plague this game in it's current form. Several players experience long matchmaking times. I myself have been disconnected immediately upon winning rounds.

EDIT: Forgot one more thing. The physics are very inconsistent. I feel like this is due to current server-side issues.

Underrated game. I initially loved it because it was a relatively gimmick free BR and I typically hate BRs because all the gimmicks. (Building, Resurrecting, Abilities, Ultimates) The game has started to pick up some gimmicky qualities here and there but they aren't huge and the gunplay is still great. The game handles well and looks great.

This feels just right. It's reminiscent of SotN without being the same. I'm really enjoying this game. I'm almost done with my first play through. I can't wait to play it again. I like the goofy novelty items too!

Still lacking quite a bit but I find myself building random crap for hours.
