Transistor is an interesting game. The gameplay is focused around Turn(). Turn() allows you to dramatically slow down time (practically stopping it) in order to attack or flee from enemies safely at the cost of not being able to attack during its cooldown. The enemies are designed in such away that you have to use Turn() in order to get the most out of the function()s (skills) you have equipped.

The main story for the game is relatively short. Even with looking around at everything, it shouldn't take more than 6 - 8 hours on a first playthrough. It may be even shorter for you if you don't listen to the great soundtrack in the backdoor sections. To get everything out of the story you will need to invest time in unlocking and reading the history of people in the game, by leveling up their respective skills.

The graphics and soundtrack on this game are amazing. They work perfectly together offering an immersive world that is worth the experience.
