Quality old school atmospheric weird spooky dream dungeon crawler Kings Field-like. Great music, nice aesthetic, solid exploration, tons of secrets, lots of magics to use and multiple endings. Combat's just ok and balance is a bit of a mess, which brings it down a notch, but worth a play for fans of the genre.

Great folk tale horror detective VN. Fantastic art and music, great characters and doesn't overstay it's welcome. It's not the best visual novel ever (*cough*House in Fata Morgana*cough*), but about $15-$20 it's a great 10 hour spooky horror thriller if you're a fan of Japanese curses.

The development staff are kind of from all over Square Enix, so it feels like a passion project of the team. Very well executed, so hopefully the team gets to stick together and make another game in the future. And maybe they can budget for voice acting next time.

One of the best and most atmospheric folk horror action adventures of recent memory. Creative unique environments with every area bringing something fresh to the table. Rewarding exploration, impeccable art direction and music. Great storytelling. Tons of fun and addictive.

Combat is a bit rough and slow. It's good enough to support the exploration but boss fights can be a struggle and the game can be quite difficult at times, especially towards the end. Worth pushing through for the incredible level design and atmosphere of this dozen hour+ journey. Highly recommend.

Underrated game with an amazing soundtrack. Closest thing to Fantasia in game form.

Fantastic collection of creative Solitaire games. The new one Fortune's Foundation is super good when you figure it out. Most of the games are great concepts + great aesthetics. Can't go wrong with this collection. Only way it could be better is with Steam Deck support.

Pretty much a flawless game if you're a fan of Wipeout and having been missing that franchise in your life. Basically a new Wipeout game + expansions with all the tournaments and modes and challenges you'd expect. Tracks are well designed and fun to learn. Has everything you could want + mod support and custom tracks and the price is ridiculously low for the quality and content. In an era where F-Zero and Wipeout are dead and other futuristic racers just aren't making up for it, this is the real satisfying deal.

Wow, what a ride. Meta narrative games that take a critical look at the game development medium aren't rare these days, including Daniel Mullin's very well designed Pony Island, but the level & scope that the Hex pulls varied game design across multiple genre and a clever narrative backbone is absolutely fantastic. Well written, clever, original, An easy game to recommend.

Good short length PnC adventure game. Fun and original setting with good puzzles and use of a smaller scope environment. Writing feels a mix of Monty Python and Ron Gilbert and brings more than enough laughs to justify the price along with the great visuals mashup and excellent classical musical choices throughout.

Only negative is that the gameplay concept of being able to stab everyone and create alternate puzzle solutions doesn't really work since you can't really clear the game if you kill even a single person along the way, which is a bit of a shame. It's a fun little diversion to check out what happens when you do stab people instead of solving the puzzles, but it doesn't really bring the multiple solution ways for progression that it seemed like it might have.

Wonderful game with great gameplay & exploration progression, charming writing and beautiful music and visuals. Most Ghibli game out there. Highly recommend! About 1-4 hours length depending on what you wanna do on your way up to the top of the mountain.

Great style, amazing sprite art (walking through Mars city is the highlight; I'd kill for an adventure game with style like this), top-notch music, but the core hoverbike gameplay just feels shallow and more frustrating than fun. I agree with one of the reviews that said if there was a mini-map of the race so you knew where the finish line was in terms of when to boost that would make the races much better. As is, it feels pretty luck involved of guessing about when the race will probably end and making sure you have boost for it or ready to throw a race at that point.
