More polished and engaging than any Pokémon game on the switch for half the price!

All jokes aside here is my honest review. I have been watching this game since 2022 and I thought it was too good to be true (like many other players). I am happy I was wrong. It is an incredible game that came out and has not disappointed players. Promising a game like ark, Pokémon, stardew, valheim and Minecraft is very difficult to deliver on. This game has exceeded any and all expectations. It runs smoothly, gameplay isn’t too grindy, world is beautiful, the creatures are adorable, and there’s so much to learn and explore. Each pal is from a certain type and they are specialised at certain tasks. My favourite part was watching the little lamb guy help build my base. They gather resources for you and they’re very sweet. You can pet all of them!! The game has a sliding difficulty which is very nice, I am a causal player and want to focus on the base building and animals. There isn’t any fall damage (that I can tell) and there’s so many things to do in the world. It has a bit of grind but that’s normal with these types of games and you have little buddies to help you along the way. The player customisation is pretty good, it’s cool you can choose a voice. Seeing the passion these devs have make me very hopefully and optimistic that this game will be the next big hit. I always want to support smaller and new devs and these guys have gone above and beyond with communication and launching a stable early access game. A feat not even triple a studios releasing a full game can do. It’s a worthy investment and it’s at the top of the steam charts for a reason. Only time will tell if this game will reach its full potential but at the moment it’s a wonderful game to spend time on!

DO NOT RELEASE DLC FOR A GAME THAT STILL HAS BUGS, CRAP UI, BORING NPCS, AND FEELS LIKE IT IS IN EARLY ACCESS!!!!

TLDR: It is a good game, not as bad as spirit of the island (that one is HORRIBLE all around). I like the auto tool switch, ability to choose pronouns, and how freely you can move around. Copies and pastes a lot from the genre and is nothing special. Game is not fully fleshed out and is over priced, it feels like it is missing a lot. Stardew Valley is three times cheaper on sale right now and about a billion times better. I got it for free so I will play it but don't bother wasting your money unless there is a huge sale and the devs stop being lazy and money hungry.

Longer Review:
I like this game a lot but Stardew is infinitely better. All the negative reviews have a point and they word things much better than I can. I like the art style and concept. Moving through the world and being able to interact with just about everything is super fun. The UI and controls are not great. This game is meant for a controller. For 30 bucks on steam this is a decently expensive game, in its current state its worth 20. My best friend got this for me for Christmas so I did not spend any money on it. I probably wouldn't have gotten it if it wasn't for her. The gameplay is not innovative and it is just the normal farming sim type things. The NPCS are BORING and the options with them feels like it is in alpha. The UI to talk to them is gross and they just don't have any substance. Stardew has really spoiled us when it comes to farming games. Farming is not difficult. Nothing is really hard in this game, besides fishing. That mechanic is crap. A lot of things feel like crap and half arsed. Character creation is bare bones besides the pronouns section which I really respect. Animals are fun but there are a lot of bugs with them. I really wanted to love this game but this is not finished and not worth the asking price. This is LAZY and GREEDY by the Devs. They will not take anything into account that people have to say and will probably release more crappy DLCs then abandon the game without fixing any bugs because that is the state of gaming in 2023.
There are way more developers deserving of your money than these guys. Bear and Breakfast is a great cosy game I genuinely loved, Hades is a masterpiece, and I really enjoyed Red Dead Redemption 2 this year (which is infintiely better than this game and only 20 USD on sale).

Finally own it through Humble Bundle so I can enjoy it without feeling a lot of guilt about (most) of my money going straight to the publishers. Get this game and a bunch of other really great one for 16 bucks from Humble Bundle. It is the IGN 9 AND ABOVE game bundle.

I own it on a switch and have a lot more progress there. It’s like overcooked but has a great automation feature to it. I played completely solo and I really enjoyed my time with the game. Great gameplay loop and a lot to explore with different strategies and recipe combinations

childhood favourite and classic. i enjoy this so much. it is a great tower defence game. it has a simple concept and a deep amount of strategy. it goes on sale for super cheap. anyone who loves tower defence and flash games will love this one

My word is wishful, once again I got insightful advice from this game. I need to just go for it. I am going into a new chapter of my life. I need to stop being fearful and just dive into it. I will succeed if I get out of my own way

An absolutely beautiful game. It’s more of an experience than a game. It’s so immersive and beautiful. The story, missions, voice acting, graphics, all of it is top tier. I have never found a game as charming and interesting as this one. Please do yourself a favour and get this masterpiece. I’m having a blind play though and it is so enjoyable. I love getting know all the charters and the world. Everything is so fresh and exciting. I just want to explore the whole world and get to know every character. Also the gunplay is insanely satisfying and good. ALL OF IT IS INCREDIBLE. the worst part about this game is that you’ll never find another that will top it. I love the gang more than life itself
Red dead online sucks though. The single player is where it shines.

COD and Activision support child grooming and it’s disgusting. No more OW2 PVE and general ♥♥♥♥♥♥ decisions being made in the company. Don’t support this please. There’s plenty of other honest game developers out there with less corrupt companies.

This franchise of games led to my Autism diagnosis. I played Papas Pancakeria for 8 hours in second grade and my mother took me to get tested the next day.

I love this so much. I hope they release the whole franchise on steam. I would gladly pay for them all, especially the new ones. So thankful to see this one pop up.

It’s a great time killer. It has a straight forward game loop that is made fresh with new customers, mini events, and games. This edition has a lot more than the flash one and is worth the month. SOOO much better than good pizza, great pizza for less money

good game but obviously feels like a mobile port. not a fan of not being able to scroll through the ipad in game. also the customers are very demanding and have unreasonable time limits. they will want a pizza with everything on it then expect it in 30 seconds, even with the upgraded happiness it drains about 1 happiness per second and it takes about 10/100 if you need clarification. the lines are charming at first but they get very annoying after you read them 10 times, wish you could disable them. also not a fan of how much monetisation they push on you even though you paid 10 USD for the game already. they mention passes and limited time events on a pizza sim??? also not a fan of the customers "wacky" orders. you either lose their happiness by asking what they mean or you have to google it and waste time. also VERY UNHAPPY YOU CANNOT SEE THE THE TICKET WHEN COOKING AND YOU HAVE TO WASTE TIME CLICKING IT.

it is an okay game. it is stressful and honestly not well ported or balanced. but it is addictive and fun if you want something mindless to do. it has a lot of things i do not like. i would play papas pizzeria if you want an ad free and better experience. this does not live up to papa's legacy but it is alright. just play this game for free on mobile and spend you 10 bucks on stardew valley
