Murda murda.

Game's a lot of fun when it's not crashing. It's the usual 'Tide formula gameplay that slaps, so that's nothing new. My favorite new addition to the game has to be the incredible detail with which almost every map is rendered. The fact that I can find a moment of peace in the chaos to just look straight up at the incredibly far away ceilings and just be blown away by the scale of the architecture of the hive world makes me feel more immersed than ever.

It's the Paper Mario: TTYD sequel you've been waiting for. Plus cute bugs and they even have Mantispidae.

It's not just a Paper Mario-clone either. The game brings some interesting new combat mechanics to the table and the optional Hard Mode Badge is a great challenge for competent turn-based RPG players. I have also managed to get fairly far in the game so far without any grinding, and it doesn't look like that is going to change soon.

And all of that is wrapped up in an interesting and adorable world. The characters are cool and it's fun to experience their journey alongside them. Even if the challenge of Hard Mode isn't your thing, the world is a joy to be in and I find myself talking to every little NPC and exploring every hidden nook and cranny just to see what everyone has to say.

All-in-all it's a pretty great game 8.7/10.
