The Good:

First 13 hours of the game and its fun and better than most survivor games in early access most due to the inventory system as I am sick and tired of seeing the exact same UI based box system and trying to put items inside of a box. This is a interactive game object that keeps your items and its a great addition.

Enemies also have a better experience being with the tactics to take down certain enemies and also having a enemy AI that is different per enemy and how they stalk your character is quite a refreshing take on the survival experience.

Performance is also good and yet i don't have a high end rig. The best option if you ever have issues which i do on my lower end gaming laptop is the dynamic resolution and it actually works if you can't max everything and don't want to play with settings. Just set it and done its all good to go.


The Bad:

Only 2 spawn locations which I guess does not say much but its repetitive and its you trying to get one spawn location because the beach is the more benefit like spawn locations because you get items that you have to look forever for like cloth just down a little way and not just one but a few cloths and your not far from objectives compared to the snow either and your next to the cave where you get the shovel which is basically the tool u need and yes its behind a wave of enemies but all you need is grenades and to run around the coast a little and get the gun and come back too.

The endless glitch which is you stay in the spawn location or just any location with a bunch of items you want to take or need in great supply and just take all the items and save the game with a tent exit and load back in and there its all refilled with the items u had before and you can keep doing this over and over and get more and more items until you basically have enough grenades to nuke the island.

Load saved games glitch is also another glitch in itself not only being like above but you can have a fort you spent hours on like me in getting logs for and you go to save the game either on location or in the bush somewhere because u got something u don't want to lose and you come back and guess what no more fort and logs or stockpile of items like sticks etc so now you have to start from scratch in your 20+ day game..

Game does not work or display assets or AI not working correctly? Save the game exit and load back in and it works again like magic.. Seriously this should not be happening and should just have something in the background making sure everything is functioning correctly.

AI issues are also another thing u ask him to get a log and follow you ? well he gets a log and stands there and does not come to your location and when you click on him again he throws it at you while ur trying to give him the same command again and can hurt you to the point if your low on health and kills you. Another issue is asking him to clear 20 meters from the location your at and he takes down 1 tree and goes back to base like yep i am done like a bloody 2 year old. Can't even collect logs unless its right next to the base to put into the holder. My AI died from enemies because apparently they don't fight and just take damage and die plus there is no command to ask your AI to guard your base just stay at the base or chill like how hard was it to make a AI kill an enemy if it comes in close proximity to the location..

Spikes are another thing you should know that do not work as intended. So yes you can put spikes down to guard your fortress but you know who it effects? Not the enemy mutants because you know they just walk all over it and jump over it like its nothing. But you come into a close enough proximity to the spikes and boom ur dead no oh u got hit once and take a small amount of damage nope just dead straight away nothing to do with your health..

The shovel is the most game breaking item in the game because once you get it you can do everything and anything and all it takes is one lot of enemies in your way. The survival all depends if you have 1. the gun and 2. the shovel and everything else is easy. Should of made the game a bit more challenging than a horde of enemies then you get the end game.



I know this is a early access and i know there are updates coming out for it but the game right now only has some innovative survival aspects and that's it everything else is either broken or is broken and so many features are left out that the game just feels like why was this not in the base game when it got released into early access..

Will be updating in 6 months to see how this game turns out for updates and fixes and if it does get better down the track. But right now if u want a game that works this one does not.
