I love the "[Animal] Organized Neatly" games series! The games are so relaxing, yet challenging. I've played all three games in the series so far, and I'm hoping for more in the future!

The bird designs, as well as the bird sounds, are adorable, and the little description of each bird hits so well.

I absolutely recommend this game if you love relaxing puzzle games.

"Children of Morta" is a great hack & slash and roguelite game.
I really enjoyed the skill tree for each character; the abilities were simple, but yet helpful and fit the character. Another positive side about the skills is that each character unlock traits that benefit any character you play as you progress through the story and the dungeons.

The story was intriguing; it was a bit cliché (good vs evil), but that also made it work quite well without complicating it unnecessarily. The game's story can be finished in about ~10-15 hours, but I spent more time (~20 hours) just grinding my characters and enjoying the gameplay before I decided to finish the story.
I actually loved the cutscenes you unlock after completing a dungeon; they were vibrant, and the animations were small and subtle for each character, but they still made the characters come to life on the screen.

The characters had different abilities and weapons based on their character (ranged [bow], melee [sword, knives, fists], semi-melee [staff], etc.). I really loved playing as John (the tank), and Mark (the monk).

The "Paws and Claws" DLC was also quite cute, adding both pets and wild animals to the Bergsons' house. Not only were the animals cute, but they were also usable; you can feed them Common Treats or Rare Treats to give your character a boost in dungeons (for example dodge chance, luck, critical chance, etc.).
Not only was the DLC cheap (about 3 Euros), it also benefits charity, which is another huge bonus!

All in all, this game was definitely worth the 33 hours I put into it. I decided to do some achievement hunting to 100% "Children of Morta", which meant I had to do some extra grinding to find the missing Souvenirs and Secrets, but it was not hard at all.
I would recommend this game if you like the genres dungeon crawler, hack & slash and/or roguelite.

"World to the West" is an Indie-RPG made by the Norwegian game studio Rain Games.
My class and I was lucky enough to meet the team and visit their studio in Bergen, Norway, in October 2016. They let us play-test a demo of the game, and give constructive feedback to help them improve the game even further.

Pros (+):
+ Great story
+ The characters are charming, well-developed and looks good (my personal favourite must be Lord Clonington)
+ Magnificent graphics, awesome art-wise
+ The game has about 20-25 hours of gameplay (If you're a completionist like me, hunting for achievements)
+ Tons of exploration, not just limited to the main story
+ Big map
+ Price is not too big, nor too small, got it on Steam's Summer Sale though
+ Superb, original and neat soundtrack

♥♥♥♥ (-):
- Story is a bit too short, in my opinion
- I still don't like the font (told the developers I didn't like it too)
- Combat system can be a bit... "buggy" at times
- I got stuck some places, due to the lack of pin-pointers on where to go next
- A bit annoying having to lead one character to a saving place, then switch character and lead another one to the same saving place (A bit repetitive in that way)

So if you like RPGs, Indie-games, tons of exploration and a neat story, I'd recommend buying "World to the West".

"Cooking Witch" is a cute, short pixelated witch-game made by VaragtP.

The goal of this game is to catch kids and throw them into your cooking pot, and eat their meat. At the same time, you have to avoid getting killed by the kids' dads.

While the game is pretty short and repetitive, it's still fun to play. I found the game a bit hard in the beginning, having to learn the mechanics and tactics, but when you've learned how to play, the real fun begins! When you can start purchasing upgrades, the game becomes more and more fun to play.

When I first started playing it, I found the game pretty disturbing, but after cooking some kids, I actually started enjoying it. The game's concept is pretty original (at least to me), and I liked it very much! The artwork is very well-made, it's cute, realistic in a cartoon-ish way, but so good!

I just can't seem to stop hating myself for loving those kids' screams when they get grabbed by the witch! The soundtrack and other in-game sounds are just too awesome and well-fitting.

Creds to the developer, VaragtP, for bringing us such a cute, fun and inventive game at the same time. The achievements are not very hard to achieve, yet there are a lot of them, so you gotta put in some hours to get them all.

Overall, I'd give the game "Cooking Witch" a total score of: 7,5/10. :sunglassesDoge:

"The Frostrune" is a point-and-click game made by the Norwegian game company Grimnir AS, and published by Snow Cannon Games.
The object of the game is to find out why the entire island you washed up on the shore, is completely abandoned, dead and frozen.

The story is interesting, mysterious and intriguing, filled with familiar Norse elements. The puzzles are diverse and neither too hard, nor too easy. Some puzzles left me scratching my head for a while, but I solved them and completed the game in approximately 2 hours.

The art and graphics are indeed beautiful, magnificent and smooth.

The game has different options of texted languages to choose between (Norwegian, English, Italian, Spanish, Arabic, Russian, French and German), which is a great choice from the developers, Grimnir AS.

The only minus point from my side, is that you cannot skip scenes and texting in the game.

I was so lucky to have Grimnir AS visiting my school, Buskerud Folkehøgskole in Norway, some days before the release date of this game. They spoke to us about the development of the game, the art, behind the scenes, the inspiration of the Norse elements, and how they programmed and sourced the game. They also gave my entire class and our teacher free Steam keys for us to beta-test "The Frostrune". We're even mentioned in the credits!

Overall, I would give "The Frostrune" a score of 8/10.

"Milkmaid of the Milky Way" is a great click-and-point game made by one Norwegian man all by himself. As a Norwegian myself, I'm proud of this game and his accomplishments.

The game contains a new, fresh and pretty original story, easy yet lovely to watch pixel-graphic, and nice soundtrack. One of the game's special features, is the rhyming in every sentence. In the beginning, it can be funny or a bit annoying, but one gets used to it after a while.

The game itself isn't too hard, yet not too easy. It's just perfect, making you scratch your head at times, and have an "Eureka!" moment once you solve the puzzles.

The game's price isn't too high, but it could yet be a little bit lower, in my opinion.
All the achievements can be reached in a single play-through.

I even met the developer, Mattis Folkestad, at EGX Rezzed in London on Saturday 1th of April. Had a nice chat and praised his game, which he deeply appreciated. He even told me some "secret" background information about his game!

Overall, I personally would give "Milkmaid of the Milky Way": 7/10
