The rifts are straight up not ready. The difficulty scaling is absolutely insane and some levels on looney were near impossible, with the boss levels being almost unbeatable because you cannot deal enough damage in the time limit even with max level badges, its like they dont even play their own game. the challenges that fuel the events for the few free items you actually can get in this game, and the challenges are just as bad. very many of them require skins from you that you straight up could only get by purchasing with the premium currency. money has been prioritized since beta, with every character locked behind an insane grind time if not getting the extra fighter points from the battle pass. the toast you can give to others does give fighter points, but its only 50, and it cost premium currency to get more than 5 a day, so i cant see why anyone would purchase more, as opposed to them costing those character points in the beta. the game will frequently crash at the start/end of a match. the balancing is awful at times, with some characters being incredibly powerful. hitboxes still dont properly line up. a new character costs like 15 bucks or potential hours of grinding. the game has weekly rotating events to try to keep you logging in every day, and the game hardly has enough enjoyment to get you back on a second time.

overall gameplay is solid i guess but if you havent been fomo-stricken like i have, i see no reason to open the game consistently until some major polish rolls around
