It has a FoV slider, so it's better than a bunch of stuff that's out there

Not much to say about this, its free, runs on anything and is very funny.

In summary it is a multiplayer Max Payne game for free that runs on a potato.

The go-to Wild West FPS game! (I'm looking at you Counter-Strike: Global Offensive).

Fistful of Frags is a free standalone game running on the Source Engine based on a mod with the same name released for Half Life 2 and then updated to Source 2007.

It includes a diverse arsenal of weapons available to choose from the beggining of the round along side small perks and auxiliary items. The gameplay is based around a team of up to 16 players fighting in well designed and diverse western-themed maps and gamemodes such as 2 and 4 Team Deathmatch, Free for all and the community made Gun Game mod.

Gameplay wise the game is focused in aim and quick reactions as the weapons are horribly innacurate while moving, take a while to shoot and relaod and only fire one bullet at a time, killing the opponent in two or three shots at max. As well as in CS, Headshots are insta-kills and health doesn't regenerate (even though the maps include Whiskey bottles that after consumed provide a quick health replenish alongside the regular drunkness associated to alcoohol), this and other game mechanics as a whole contribute to raising the game's skill ceiling but not at a point that makes the game unpleasant to casual players, as they are the focus of this product.

Overall Fistful of Frags is a very good game, but not on par with the mod it is based on, which includes more maps and gamemodes but require you to have Half Life 2 installed. It's free price, diverse map pool, interesting game mechanics and easy to learn gameplay provide a healthy mix of content in a well packaged product.

PS.: If anyone is interested the game's performance is on par with anything released on Source 2007 such as Half Life 2: Episode 2, Portal 1 and Team Fortress 2
