good game for the good gods

I don't even like football. I know the hours played on this will be astronomical by the time you actually read this review.

This is it boys. It's the Eve of World War II, and you picked New Zealand. It's time to bring your nation to the head of the big kids table. Immediately rush Fascism, and become the Kiwi Empire. All Hail the Kiwis.

I honestly don't understand how the hate has gotten SO bad. I get the hate about DLC, I get the price hate, I get the hate on re-skinning some of the best civilizations. However, this game is entertaining, and has certainly refined some of the better tweaks they made in CIV V. I appreciate the diversity in new civilizations, and I love the tourism changes. I do reccomend all the dlcs on sale, because the game can feel like a shell without all of the civilizations. Clearly a negative, but this game has great replayability.

After a long time of playing, and thoroughly enjoying the campaign and the online format, I just don't want to support this game anymore. The servers run rampant with a slew of different hackers, there really is no way to safely make money without playing in a solo server with a few friends. And even then the money is miniscule. I don't mind paying a dollar every once in awhile to get some cool customizations or cars, but the designs are nowhere near as awesome as they were originally.
