If your a fan of Starship Troopers then I highly recommend. The game is still a little bit barebones, but they been steady releasing updates. Its already fun as it is. I love killing hordes of bugs. It runs good, looks fantastic, especially considering the massive amount of Bugs, explosions, Troopers, etc that can be on screen at once. Considering those things, and it being early access, it runs phenomenal. Its kind of like a tower defense if I had to give it a genre. I'm the type of person though, where if you give me a build mechanic to build a defensible base, a machine gun and hordes of enemies to mow down, I'll get hours and hours of entertainment. So just saying it might not be for everyone how it currently is, but its a fun game. There are 2 different games modes. one being AAS ( Advance and secure, squad players should be familiar) where you have to take and hold certain objectives, then finish by building a base and defending at the final objective. Then there is ARC which is a little more complicated. The whole objective is to protect the ARC. The team starts with no base. You have to extract resources from resources wells, then bring those resources to the ARC base to use to build one from scratch, to protect the ARC. I thought both game types were fun, if a little barebones, which is to be expected.

Anyway, yes, I would highly recommend to Starship trooper fans. I still recommend to non fans, but just know what your getting before you buy.

Yes, I recommend. But ONLY, if its on sale. DO NOT BUY, AT FULL PRICE. It simply, isnt worth that kind of money. I bought it, at a 75% discount, at that was a totally acceptable price, the game was 100% worht it, at that price. But, the game, is simply not worth, the $50 or $60 they charge, normally. Its very lacking, for that kind of price. But witht his being said, I do recommend, as it is a fun game.

So, this game is breathtakingly beautiful. For reals. It has extremely in depth BB mechanics. With some beautiful animations, to go along with it. The cannibals, and mutants, are quite scary. Especially when your just walking along, collecting resources, and you catch something out of the corner of your eye. You look, and there are cannibals in the trees. Watching, and following you. Jumping from tree to tree. The Mutants are a whole nother thing, though. They are terrifying. Especially, when you dont know what to expect. When I entered the first cave, I could hear them. It was so dark though, I could not see them. So I started lighting, and throwing flares about. Then I saw I saw them. A group of them. One, being a hideous mutated monster. I didnt know what to do. I fought them, and I died, swiftly. The melee leaves a lot to be desired. Regardless of your weapon, it feels like your just poking them. The melee feels like there's no weight, to the weapons. There's also no sound effect, to indicate that you hit them. No splatter noise, nothing. Not if they are alive, anyway. The enemies do react to damage, and the animations are quite detailed. ALL the animations, are quite detailed. I've honestly never seen, such high quality animations. I've not yet been able to test the ballistic weapons(guns). I've also not yet been able to test all the BB mechanics. I can see this game being something GREAT. Its just need a good bit more of polishing. It does leave a lot to be desired in my opinion. But I do whole heartedly believe, the coming updates, will make this game feel whole. It definitely feels like an early access game. There's no doubt about that. But As I said, I believe the coming updates, will give the quality of life improvements, that it needs. I very much so, recommend Sons of the Forest.

Though, with that being said, maybe wait to purchase. Wait for a couple more months, until more updates have been released. Unless, you just cant help yourself(like me), I highly suggest waiting for a few more months. I wont touch this game again, until the next update. Just because, I don't want to spoil anything. I want to play this game, in its finished state. And I want everything to be fresh and new, when I do. Like I said, I will give it a test, with the release of the new updates, but wont play in its entirety, until finished. I highly suggest doing the same :)

I do recommend though. I believe this game is going to be great. The base is there already, and its f*cking beautiful. The devs, clearly care a lot, about releasing a quality product. Give it some more time in the oven, and it'll be a digital work of art, just in its graphics, alone.

Yes id recommend it. DMZ is pretty fun, its a more easy going version of Tarkov. Lots of cool modern guns, lots of cool reload animations. Nice skins. I really like the more realistic skins, like the "Ranger" skins. Lots of cool vehicles to drive. You can hang out the window, while driving, and even climb onto the roof of the vehicle, while its moving. This can make for some really cool, cinematic moments.

The guns feel punchy, like they have real power behind them. I really like the Battle Rifles, like the SO14(M14 M1A1 socom, the newer shortened version, of the M14)its a really accurate, powerful, gun. And the M14 has always been one of my favorites. So I was absolutely stoked, to see the Socom version. There's no more Bunny hopping, or slide canceling, So all the cheap sweaties, are gonna have to find a new way to sweat. I really love that they took out the Bunny hopping and slide canceling.

The Map, "Al Mazarah" is top notch. Its got all kinds of different terrains and a large sized downtown area, with tall sky scraper type buildings, an airport. Its basically a whole city. There are many different POI(points of interest)that were a lot of fun to explore. Graphics are top notch. I use a NVIDIA RTX 3060, and I get steady a 60FPS. That's with all the graphic setting's on high, and basically every graphic setting, up as high as it goes. So the game runs pretty smoothly. Id suspect it might run pretty well, even on some much lesser hardware. Ive had one crash, in 11 hours of play. And that was just after my initial download. I played a match, the upon starting another one, it crashed. That was on hour 1. Ive played 10 hours since, and no crashes.

Overall, its been a top notch experience. Its certainly a triple A title, and it lives up to my expectations. Not many games these days can say the same. So ya give it a shot, im sure you wont regret it.

Hey, its free anyway. You cant lose. If you don't like it, uninstall, and move on to bigger, better, games.

Great game. Trench warfare, at its finest! I do have some very minor complaints, but i believe the devs will fix those problems in upcoming patches. The devs listen to the community.

Its the longest running, most successful battle royal, that exists. Its one of the better BR games In my humble opinion. Absolutely do recommend.

This game is leaps and bounds from what it was on launch. My original review was a negative one. That is no more. I've come to really enjoy playing Reforger. The official and modded community servers are both great. I enjoy playing both, quite a bit. They have improved literally everything, and added a ton of new stuff. Optimization is pretty decent compared to what it was. The Enfusion engine is awesome. I love the detailed and realistic environment it offers, and the realistic physics. Driving in Reforger, is really fun. One of my favorite parts of the game, is the driving physics. No more are the days of Arma 3 wonky, crazy, driving physics. The official setting of the game is awesome, it's a Cold-war setting between USA and Russia. A time of conflict that hasn't been delved into very much in the gaming world; which gives it a unique setting.

Most of all, if you are a Mil-sim fan, you will enjoy Arma Reforger. It's a genuinely fun and immersive game. The modded servers have maps based on the Fascist Russian invasion of Ukraine. I quite enjoy those maps and factions. There is a wide variety of real world conflicts, that modders have modded into the game. There is a Kunar Province map, based on the war in Afghanistan, with all the relevant factions, weapons, and vehicles. There is a Mogadishu map, based on the "Black Hawk Down" conflict with relevant factions, weapons, and vehicles. There is a 1967 Vietnam war map with relevant factions and weapons as well as vehicles. There even is a Chernarus map, a recreation of the original DayZ map. There are many, many more modded community servers, these are just thew most notable.

The game still has it's bugs, and isn't perfect, but it's getting there. In another year, Reforger will be quite impressive, I believe. I am already impressed by the Enfusion engine, and the amount of mod support being offered. It's lovely. They basically handed us a modding platform and said "go nuts!". I really love it, and im not even a modder. I just love that they allowed for the community to basically make their own game. They handed us all the assets, the engine, everything to be able to make all our own factionas maps, vehicles and weapons. I would even go as far as to say, Reforger is a one-of-a-kind, right now.

I highly recommend purchasing it.
