The game is great when it's working ( which doesn't happen very often ).
Poor performance even on low settings, connectivity issues, poor balance that forces people to use only a handful of weapons.

So; being a Dragon Ball fan from the time i first lay my eyes on the cartoon/anime, I didn't think twice about purchasing this game. The coolest thing about this is the fact that it's not telling the same story like the previous games and instead it takes on a new spin on it with time travel.

What's making this stand out more is the fact that this time you are your own character and as you grow you learn new abilities. You can play tour character however you want, either close combat, long rage or a balance between both. Of course, as you level up and progress trough the story, you eventually unlock the Dragon Ball characters available in the game each with it's own multiple variations of ultimate attacks and special attacks that you can use to do the secondary quests.

There is alot of content in this game, and it's very addictive. The downside (albeit a bit small) is the fact that the loot aswell as the quest hidden objectives are random. Sometimes you can activate a certain part of the quest to progress to the next part and sometimes you don't.

Another cool feature is the fact that you cna collect the 7 dragon balls to make wishes. This is the games version of unlocking some hidden characters and special and ultimate attacks only by wishing on them, getting credits if you find yourself needing more and the abillity to wish to respec your character or to change they way it looks ( if you find yourself dissatisfied with it ).

Overall i give this an 8.5/10.

PS: I could've give this a higher score but, the thing thats making the experience of playing a Dragon Ball game ( that i was so hyped for it ) a frustrating hell, is the fact that the servers are no match for the amount of players playing the game. I for one cand do online quests easily on the PC but on the consoles is much worse.

This game is probably the best "Alien" game to date. And the story of this Alien game is even better the Alien 3 , Resurrection and any other game or film related to this francise. If you want to savor the story with minimal frustrations, the you should chose easy or medium. Hard mode will keep you glued o your seat and actually get you immersed in the world and terror that Alien Isolation provides. Not to mention that 90% of the creature or AI is unscripted.
