Quirk, and funky, this is an atmospheric masterpiece. Its controls are unintuitive if you are used to classic game controls, but they are fully capable of mastery and allow a huge depth of gameplay. Plus they link well into the physics simulation.

If you like the atmosphere and lore style of darksouls, this is for you. If you like dark, mysterious dungeons like in Legend of Grimrock 1, this is for you. If you like physics simulations, including the hilarious emergent jank, this is for you. If you like crawling through the muck, finding loot, secrets, and chests (some hidden in plain sight), this is for you. If you like arena battling, this is for you.

If you cant handle spending a minimum of a few hours to get modestly okay with the controls, this is not for you. Seriously, imagine playing something like Elite Dangerous without having knowledge of the existence of space, or even flight, sims. With only a (admittedly stellar) manual, and no tutorial. This is a new style of controls, with no currently available analogous experience to refer to. It WILL take a while to learn, and even longer to master. It took me several half assed 30min tries with nothing clicking, before i sat down tipsy a few weeks later and it just clicked.

Amazing and well worth the 5$ it costs, the dlc just makes it even better
