I REALLY wanted to like this game. The lighting is really pretty, but I'm not so sure about the choice of voxel models. They look fine as long as you don't stop to look at anything for too long. The story was compelling enough to keep me going, but i felt like the writer was periodically trying to preach to the player and it really took me out of it. I'm just trying to play a game and get lost in the virtual world, man. All being said, the music and sound really steal the show.

This game is a cross between Shadows of the Colossus and Breath of the Wild - in a good way. Been having a good time exploring ancient ruins and uncovering the mysteries of the desert. Keep an eye out for subtle memes here and there. This came through my discovery queue and I was pleasantly surprised - never even heard of Sable before lol.

Been really enjoying this one. It reminds me a lot of Dragon's Fury and Dragon's revenge, minus the bonus mini stages. I love the FM synth crunch of the soundtrack too. If you like pinball give this a shot.

Downloaded the Oceangate Titan mod recently and visited the deeps. A giant eldritch tentacle monster started following our sub and attacked us with psychic damage until we were puking all over each other and hallucinating all sorts of weird things in the tiny ship. We died a horrible death. Trauma/10, would sub again.

Pretty cool being able to play a Build Engine game made in the modern era. I like the characters, and blasting baddies with the various weapons is crunchy and satisfying. Good balance from beginning to end, and I only felt lost a couple times but figured it out. Finding all the easter eggs was fun.
