I played this entirely on my SteamDeck, and bought it for the express purpose of playing it on a trip I was taking. I had watched someone play the demo on YT and when I saw it was released, I just grabbed it.

This game is freaking adorable, first of all. Cute writing, great artwork and character design, simple yet effective sound and music design - This game just doesn't really do anything badly. The puzzles ramp up in difficulty very calmly. I never felt a spike that felt out of place. They always had just one fun little new mechanic that mixed things up just enough (The speed dating level was so cute!)!

But also, I absolutely loved the ongoing narrative! Very fun and heartwarming!

If I had to critique the game at all, it would be that, over all, I found it pretty easy. No level had me stumped for long, and I have 100% of the achievements in about 7 hours. Very well worth the price of admission for me, and I hope this developer makes more adorable puzzle games like this!
Very fun, very worth it, excellent work.

Monster Hunter World was my first MH game. I bought it on launch, and played it for about 12 hours, and then stopped. I picked it up again halfway through last year and put over 200 hours into it. It was an amazing experience, and I loved it from beginning to end. Since then I've been pretty hyped for Wilds.

And now that it's here, and I've scratched the surface and am working my way into it (As fast as life will allow), I gotta say: I love this. Things are different, but it feels like world did when I first started. Lil jank, learning curve, but ultimately very satisfying. I'm really, really enjoying my time with it so far.

Lots of people have complained about performance, and I won't say it's great. I'm playing in 1440p Ultrawide on mostly 'high' settings, using FSR (Balanced) on my 5600x and 7800XT while playing on Linux - I get about 100fps on average, sometimes around 120, sometimes down to about 60ish - no crashes, no stuttering.

Should I have to use FSR? No.
Are performance and optimization patches an absolute must? 100%.
Am I still enjoying the hell out of the game, and is it running fine for me? Yes.

I've been told that using FSR is the way to get it stable, even on NVIDIA cards, but I don't like developers telling us to rely on framegen in order to get a game playable for a large portion of the playerbase. World was also a mess on launch, and I don't doubt this will be patched and fixed. And when it is, you'll find a great game here if you enjoyed World.

So if you can wait, then wait! But as for the actual game itself? I love it, and can't wait to play more.

Acquired through the Humble Monthly.

As I get older, I find that despite appreciating (And having fun with) wide open, large games with many quests and things to do - There is something really refreshing and nice about a mostly linear experience that is designed to tell a specific story. The Invincible is one of these games, and I really, really liked it. More 'game' than a basic walking simulator, less 'game' than a sprawling open-world epic. I didn't need to explore every cranny of Regis III looking for obscure audio logs in order to find myself immersed and enraptured in the story and its characters.

It's slower paced, with it's exposition and character coming primarily from dialog between two characters as well as context actions scattered around you. It's not exciting in a white-knuckle way, but it IS exciting (to me) in a way that makes you wonder and guess at causes, effects, choices, and consequences.

Plus, visually, it was absolutely gorgeous. I had it on 'epic' settings on my ultrawide 1440p monitor and golly - What a visual treat. Hats off to the environment artists because the vistas and horizon really made me feel in an alien place.

Absolutely worth a play through, Yasna is such a thoughtfully written character (And beautifully voiced), and her story was one I very much enjoyed experiencing.

Played on Arch Linux using Proton.

As someone who loved the first one, despite some game-play and pacing flaws, I was really looking forward to playing this. And while I still there think there are some pacing and game-play issues, this is a wonderful sequel that I greatly enjoyed. The voice work is just wonderful, first of all. Some of the secondary characters aren't as strong, but Amicia and Hugo and the other big four (Without spoiling anything) are all great. The woman who played Amicia, specifically, was just incredible. Really great work, really powerful and emotive.

The story is great, while somehow being both more grounded and more off the rails than the first one. No rat-tornado battles against the inquisition, but still some wild parts that are beautiful and incredible set pieces while also being kind of absurd in the narrative sense. Ultimately it doesn't matter, because it still comes together in a way that had me crying even though I called the end half-way through.

Like I said earlier: Pacing and gameplay issues mar it a bit. Some of the slower 'exposition and take it in' moments are just a tad too slow and plodding, some of the wave-combat sections are almost too frantic (Which is what they are going for, but they go on for a hair too long most times), and some stealth sections are REALLY frustrating. However I never felt out of options, and there were always multiple ways to beat most sections (I'm likely not as creative in my methods as some).

Over-all / TL:DR - Great game, great sequel, incredible voice acting, Some incredible (Both graphically and thematically) set pieces, I totally cried, and I would absolutely recommend it.

Thanks to Valve, Wine, and all the developers working on Proton and its dependencies.

Short, yes, but extremely fun and cute and with great voice work!
Admittedly, some of the answers were a bit obtuse and were discovered more by trial and error than actual deduction - But the presentation, premise, and delivery were all well worth the price of admission. Absolutely recommended! I hope the developers make more cases! Eugene needs to get that bus fare!

Bleak, sad, a tad hamfisted in some parts, but ultimately an honest (If artistic) look at the deconstruction of one's faith in the face of reality. As a once avid believer now turned atheist, I found pieces of myself in Indika's story and struggles, even if our faith backgrounds weren't the same. It's ending was particularly poignant.

As far as the 'game' portion goes: It's linear, it's very pretty, the puzzles and platforming are simple, and it doesn't overstay its welcome. It's obviously short, and I don't really have a reason to play again - But since I value games by experience and not longevity, I consider my money and time very well spent.

Very well done and recommended.

I was 13 when Baldur's Gate 1 came out, and it blew me away. It was an RPG experience that was unrivaled for me, until I played Baldur's Gate 2 (And its incredible expansion). These have been my favorite CRPGs of all time for years. Decades.

When I heard about BG3 I was worried, because to me the series is done. Why bother continuing it? But I loved Divinity and I figured if someone could do it, Larian could. I waited to buy this until after Early access, and got it pretty soon after launch.

Wow. What an achievement. Honestly, this game as as close a perfect continuation of this franchise as you can get. Vibrant, varied characters - Interesting quests - Incredible interactions - So many little things, little magic, little sparks of creativity and worldbuilding everywhere that after multiple playthroughs of certain areas, I STILL notice new things.

Larian should be unbelievably proud, every person who put work into this game has participated in something great, and in light of the business practices of so many big name studios (And even some small name studios) - A Complete, feature rich, story rich game with amazing voice work is such a welcome site and experience.

Admittedly sometimes the camera (Especially in tight, multi-floored areas) is frustrating to control, and clicking to walk through doorways is a mess (And shooting projectiles through a door), but the game is incredible. Again: An incredible achievement.

Art direction? Adorable.
Story? Simple yet whimsical - The world building is perfectly weird.
Puzzles/Flow of the game? Simple without being too tricky (Admittedly, the answer for the final pattern finding one with the fish and the dragon head buttons was a tad obtuse - But forgivable), and plenty of fun little games that not only tickle the brain, but also could easily be played at home with friends/the kids.

Also, it's very funny. The chicken, in particular, had me laugh out loud a few times and I am actually a bit annoyed that we only got to enjoy the chicken so late in the game.

Did I only play it for 5 hours? Yes. But I was smiling and enjoying myself the entire time. Easily worth it, very very cute and fun, and I'll be passing the controller to my kids to watch them stumble through.

If I had to give this a numerical vote, it would be like...6.5 or 7 out of 10.
The characters are charming, the story is cute, the game looks pretty, and I enjoyed the voice work. That said, the game DOES get repetitive by the end of your time as the mail carrier, and I had several audio glitches where sound would cut out entirely. This spoiled some moments that would otherwise be a lot more impactful.

As well: I played this on Linux, using Proton Experimental and (Aside from the aforementioned audio issues) had zero problems playing the game. Ran like a dream, no hiccups or crashes.

If you want a break from busy, loud, fast paced games (Much like our sweet Meredith), then this is a cute, simple, if a bit wearing option that I'm glad I played through.

I played this game on Linux using Proton Experimental. It worked flawlessly.

My play time is messed up because I had to pause multiple times for lengths of time (Parenting calls) - But this game is excellent. I loved the first one, and this is more of the same in the best way. For sure much creepier, the hospital section with the darkness (YOU'LL KNOW) actually made me put the controller down and come back later. The platforming during chase scenes didnt feel as fluid as the first, requiring more perfectly timed jumps/slides - This is a shame because it means you have to repeat sections. That's not bad (Death isn't a big penalty), it just sucks you out of the moment and atmosphere.

Over-all I very much recommend it, it's a solid lesson in atmosphere, creepy level/creature design, and 'show don't tell' story telling.
