Absolutely ruined my work day from lack of sleep from being lost in the BG Sauce. 10/10

Somehow combines the magic of Baldur's Gate 1 & 2, Neverwinter Nights, D&D, massively branching story paths, and the balance of satisfying combat without being too difficult.

Oh, also no macro-transactions (or micro), and the game runs great on both Windows and Linux (proton).

Worth way more than $3. Not very long, some of the weapons probably need more balancing. Overall insanely enjoyable and definitely worth your time.

Honestly, sometimes the combat feels a little shallow, and this game is very linear.

That being said, it's super entertaining, it's easy to be sucked into the world and the story. Story driven games with action content, and some really good side mini-games. I definitely recommend picking this up.

This is also a good game to start with, since technically it's chronologically first story-wise out of all the games.

Early Access Review
A bunch of never aging settlers attempt to build basic buildings by placing scaffolding all over the world.

Actually in all seriousness this is a great game. Right now it's a little easy but the developer has been doing frequent fixes/updates on an extremely regular schedule. (Opting in for the steam beta releases is often times multiple times a week.)

The graphics are actually extremely satisfying although it looks plain without the building grid up. Think towns/gnomoria but easier. Development team actually listens to people's suggestions and it's clear they work hard.

I paid the $25 dollars for this game and it hits the spot for me. It is early access though and as implied from the first statement there are bugs. So if you aren't willing to deal with some AI, pathing, and building issues on the early builds pass it up. But the stable releases (not on the beta option in steam) all work decently enough.

As it stands the game does lack a little depth and you'll enjoy more of it from learning how to build. (Building interface could also be a little less clunky but it is work able.)

People have made some pretty cool towns in this already and I am exceptionally excited to see how this pans out. Development is definitely in full swing on this one.
