9 years later, and it's still a buggy mess.

When you're ready to enjoy everything this game has to offer, a game-breaking bug will occur that will corrupt your server, and destroy all your progress.

Even online servers with active admins can barely survive 2 weeks online in this bugfest.

Kids play Theme Park MMOs.
Teens play Asian MMOs.
Men play Albion Online.

It's good.

A pretty solid & fun gameplay experience until level cap, you never stop doing stuff!

UI is kinda lame for PC, but it looks too much like Genshin Impact, so you can overcome it... for the most part!

Best Collectible Card Game ever made.

Balanced combat, beautiful artwork and the most F2P-friendly business model you could ask for!

KOF '97 makes you wish more companies took their arcade classics so seriously!

From great downsampling even in 4K, to amazing rollback netcode for online matches, as well as a variety of modes (with training mode missing sadly, but hopefully there's a mod for that!), you're definitely getting more than what you pay for!

The roster is quite big, the story is quite good (considering it's an arcade game from 1997), and most importantly, the game mechanics are great! If you have experience with any other KOF game you'll feel right at home, and if not, you're bound to train some necessary positioning and punishing skills, that easily transfer to any other fighting game.

I do suggest you grab the KOF Triple pack on sale, as it's a steal!

I would only recommend this game if:

- You have a weird addiction with pixel graphics and / or cheap cop stories.
- You want an easy 100% game that will take a couple of hours.

P.S. Don't expect any kind of challenge fighting game wise. There are quite a few super-broken / super-safe moves, so if anything, playing Verdict Guilty will make you worse at fighting games.

Absolute trash.

- 100% unoriginal moves stolen straight from SF, MK etc.
- the only "fighting" game i've played in my life (played 60+) with lag and glitchy animations

It's just terrible, not even worth writing more about it. Stay away.

It's promising IF they keep on developing it.
