I thought I would rather see Fortnite on Steam than Order of Ecclesia... I remember the time when I said that I would pay $250 for that game on that platform... and here I am... Im playing a game that is in my Top3 best games of all time... right f-ing now... on a big screen... the only thing I need now is some asian Shanoa-looking like girl next to me and I will die happy.

DoS is good too...
...
... never completed PoR for some reason.

A perfect CoD: Zombies crew in a not so prefect PayDay2 clone.

If You liked Robocop: RC and Terminator: Resistance... You will like this game aswell. Its mid in every aspect but somehow its fun to play. It has charm, likeable characters, its quite long (altho quite repetitive)... and its hella fun with friends.

Early Access Review
- Fix bug with notifications (invisible)
- Fix bug with invites (also invisible)
- Fix bug with friends list (not refreshing at all... someone can be online for an hour and still be offline on my side)
- Add more slots for custom avatars

... then Ill recommend this game.

I played Black Ops 3 customs and found a mod that turns every person into Freedom Planet character... and I was like... "Damn these characters are hella cute... I need to look up what the anime is about"... but to my surprise its not an anime... its a game... and a good one. So yeah... I played Freedom Planet 3 before the game was even announced.

Disclaimer: I hate Sonic-styled games... they are too fast, maps are not straight forward and while playing I feel like Im always missing a secret or something. Im sorry I prefer Mario and Metroidvanias but this wont affect the score.

+ Great A/V
+ Charming characters and Storyline* (*charming doesnt make it very good, but its fine)
+ VOICEACTING!!! (yes, this is actually huge)
+ Simple and fluid controls
+ Has some replay value (more characters, going back for missed secrets and collectables, time trial)

+/- A little too basic but some people do prefer their pizza like this
+/- Could've been a lil longer
+/- There is something wacky going on with difficulty but it can be me

- Was hoping for more game modes and more diverse gameplay

I cant speak for map layout because Sanic aint my cup of tea. I really dont like this but I know many people do like it.

+ Great A/V
+ Quite long
+ Tons of items, abilities, customization, enemy types etc.

+/- Tons of useless items, abilities and other customization things
+/- It can be me... but I get lost very often (played lots of Castlevanias back in a day... almost never had an issue with progression)... not enough shortcuts and badly placed teleporters... also there are occasional MP/HP MAX Potions literally next to save room... which refils Your HP and MP... what is this?
+/- again... it can be me... but the game feels grindy af
+/- yet again... it can be me... but the combat feels clunky... if we compare any DS Castlevania to any CoD since Black Ops 1 (in terms of how refined movement is in these games)... then Bloodstained is PUBG... its still ok, but something doesnt feel right
+/- Story is meh (but as a person that came here to jump and slash I dont really care that much)
+/- Shops are useless, never bought anything there except potions and the one sword I bought for sh1t ton of money (because it looked cool and had some cool images/abilities/whatever) was worse than some trash spear I found randomly on the ground...

- Controls are dog-sh1t... cant rebind this, cant do that... if You rebind this then this breaks... holy sh1t... also why the f*ck there are two separate buttons for going back (in menu)?... ESC brings You back to the game no matter how deep in menus are You... and You cant rebind it... Im missclicking it all the time while changing inventory... also non-rebindable (what a word) Q and R for browsing pages...

Not really a thing that affects the score but the game is overpriced. Yes I know that old Castlevanias were $60 but these were different times... nowadays we have ♥♥♥♥ ton of Metroidvanias for $20-$30... $40 is a little too much, $30?... perfectly fine.

(maybe 8/10 if You are a real Metroidvania fan)

Quite bare in content department for a 5yr old game (with all DLC's equipped).

The concept is very good, movement is fluid and the gameplay is solid...
...
... but holy fu‎‏‏‎‏‏‎ck this game desperately needs more items and content. F-ing Castlevanias on NDS had more items/weapons etc. The reason why I can play Binding of Isaac over and over and over again is because there is sooo many items and variables and stats and characters and everything...
...
... I dont feel that in Dead Cells... also is it me or the maps barely feel like they've been randomly generated?... especially Castlevania ones.

Speaking of Castlevania... I would love to see Order of Ecclesia 2 made in Dead Cells.

7/10
- I really thought this would be my new go-to RNG-based game to have fun on a train... but I'll most likely stick to Isaac. Still a fun game.

(and before You sh‏‏‏‏‏‏‎‏‏‎it on me for having only 8hrs of in-game time... bro Ive seen lists on the internet and this amount of weapons/items should've been on premiere 5 years ago)

★☆☆☆☆

1/5

You need to pay to unlock more stars... $20 per one.

On a serious note, this should've been an update for OW1, not a separate game.
