107 hours in, and probably have 107 more hours to go. The game is great and especially a lot of fun when playing with a group of 4 friends!

I have purchased this game on PC aswell as on the PS4. Hell, my partner and I even went to the store to specifically buy a PS4 so we could start playing this game. Needless to say we fell in love with the game.

So when the pre-orders started for the PC version we didn't doubt for a second and soon we we're waiting for the day we could play it on our beloved desktops. First off, in both versions the game looks absolutely stunning.

A lot of the negative reviews right now are because of the unstable connections the game had in the beginning of release. What they fail to mention (or maybe forgot) is that CapCom is working on fixing this asap.

Connections have been improved a lot with a recent patch, the only problem now is joining SOS quests (basically quests from people outside of your online session).

The game itself is incredibly fun, though the storyline has unskippable cutscenes which is annoying for anybody who has already played it but not unbearable. The best part is that the game doesn't end after the story.

There's still so much to do after, more difficult monsters, augmenting your weapons. If you are a real collector you can even go for making all the different armor sets. Getting the best for every fight.

And if you don't enjoy doing stuff like that, don't worry! There's more content coming, just have a little patience.

This game is exactly what you think it is. You can simulate any boardgame that you want. (if it's available on the workshop or as DLC ofcourse) Even if it isn't available you can make it yourself.

Shuffling and dealing cards, moving pieces around, rolling dice.. it's all very easy. This game is perfect if you have friends who live far away and you just want to play some games with them.

It's also perfect to test out boardgames, atleast I do this sometimes. My partner and I are going to start a game of Gloomhaven soon and see if it's something we like. If we like it we buy it IRL.

If you're interested in this game, just buy it. It has workshop integration with an active modding community. This is a very addictive game where real time begins to speed by in a blur. 5 minutes becomes 5 hours and you only noticed because you need to use the restroom.

There is a wonderful charm about it and the fat little characters. There is a lot of micromanagement so if you're the kind of person that hates to think, can't oil your brain because it hurts, well then you should pass.

It's not overly complicated but the game doesn't hold your hand starting out. It's like bam build a prison and good luck.

In Magicka, you're a wizard. What kind off wizard is up to you. You have access to eight elements, you can use them solo, mix them together, stack them for more powerfull spells and destroy anything.

I do mean.. anything. You have people that use them on enemies. You have people that use them on themselves.. and you have my friends that use them on myself and eachother.

If you have friends like mine, you wont get far in the multiplayer. Aslong as you don't regularly blow yourself up you should be fine in single player.

This game is an absolute gem in the middle of a lot of farming games. This is because it's not only about farming; fishing, mining, foraging and even fighting! It's the perfect game if you had a crappy day and just want to forget all your worries and relax.

If you like piles of guns, lots to do and shoot, and a robust leveling system with a natural coop multi-player aspect and aren't put off by the cel shading, it's a damn near perfect game for you. I do recommend playing the franchise in the correct order to maintain the storyline. But all the games solo are fun either way.

About an hour in to the game you really want to kill Handsome Jack, and if you still think he is a cool dude by then you're pretty f-ed up. If you liked Borderlands you will find that this is a true sequel that lives up to the hype.

Early Access Review
After playing 335 hours and taking a break from this game I think this is the most honest opinion I can have.

Even though it's early access the game already has a lot of features and animals/dinosaurs. The only problem is that if you join a official server now you'll be miles behind. Everybody already has a base and multiple dinosaurs. If you start, I recommend either a Single Players game or, if you want to play with friends, a relatively calm unofficial server.

Keep in mind that if you play you'll end up in a time sucking hole. On official servers the taming, breeding and maturing times are untouched. And they are extremely long in some cases. For example: a single raptor takes around 50 minutes, while a rex can take up to 5 hours. During the taming progress you can't just leave. The dinosaur needs food and narcotics constantly plus if you're on a PVP server other players might try to kill it.

For everything you need to farm and collect. Structures? Wood and stone. Food for you and your dinosaurs? Berries or meat. All the other dinosaurs you have tamed need a food supply aswell so you have to gather food for them too. If you want to play on an offical server I recommend you try to find a Tribe (guild) and fast.

There are some good unofficial servers with shorting taming/breeding rates and increased gathering. My friend and I went to one after playing on an official server for some months. After that we got our own server. This made the game instantly more fun for us. After a while the game does get repetitive because the process of getting dinosaurs is always the same.

But I have had a lot of fun in this game and don't regret wasting all this time into it.

It's a short game and you wont put in a hundred hours playing this, but it's worth the money. If you buy the game only for the story, you might not think the same way. I really recommend finding a friend to play the co-op aswell.
