I enjoyed this game overall, but have some mixed feelings about it.


The first few hours of this game were really great - I have not enjoyed playing a video game so much in a long time. However, as my progress plateaued in this game, so did my enjoyment. Looking for eggs (hidden collectibles), for instance, turned from something fun into a chore as they became harder and harder to find. It is quite literally an egg hunt, but not a good one. I have yet to collect all of the eggs and honestly don't think I'd be able to do it without going insane, unless I use a guide (which I don't think I should have to). However, you need to collect all of the eggs in order to unlock further content in the game. It's not like, for instance, collecting all korok seeds in BotW which is completely optional and is not needed to progress in the game.

The final puzzle in the first ending was also frankly underwhelming. Compared to some of the other puzzles in this game, it was easy and over quickly. Also I said "first" ending, because this game has multiple endings and levels that go much, MUCH deeper than just that first ending, as per other reviews, so there is still a lot to uncover. But again, further progress (which would require collecting all eggs as mentioned) would be steep and slow - at least without a guide, which would spoil everything. So, I don’t really feel motivated to keep playing.

I've also seen other reviews complaining about how difficult the puzzles are to solve, but I think these people are frankly idiots. I don't know what they expected. If you don't enjoy puzzles, then don't buy a puzzle platformer type game lol. I do, however, have a problem with how difficult it can be to find the puzzles in the first place.

Overall, this is an enjoyable puzzle-type game that is slightly overpriced. The graphics and art style are absolutely beautiful, plus it's only 34 MB in size and can run on practically anything. However, the game play itself can become tedious quite quickly. If this game cost even 20% less than its current price, I'd feel a lot more positively about it.

I would like to give massive props to the developer, Billy Basso, for creating this entire game from scratch – that is a very impressive achievement. I also want to thank Bigmode/videogamedunkey for making me aware of this game, because I likely would never have come across it otherwise.

even if you play all of the right notes in a song, it will still sound terrible. 10/10.

For some reason my origin launcher for this game is corrupt and I can't even load the game. I have no idea why. Steam should not sell games that require third party launchers imho.

My radiator is broken, so instead I'm using this game to heat up my GPU to keep my room warm. It's working well so far.
