This game is amazing. There, that's all you need to know.

If that's not enough, it has an amazing world and storytelling with a small (but appropriate) soundtrack. The combat and the 'game' part of Sunless Sea isn't perfect and is usually the only thing you'll see criticised. While some mechanics do leave a little to be desired they weren't *that bad* and the rest of the experience is so excellent that I can't do anything but wholehartedly recommend it.

The only exception is if you're not interested in story driven games, because that's what Sunless Sea is, and if you jump in expecting Black Flag you will be sorely dissapointed.

Transistor is amazing. It is one of the games that deserves to be considered as art, rather than just a timewaster. Everything, from the beautiful art, to the raptuous music and the enthralling characters conspires to make this game a true art piece.

The game itself is also great, though perhaps not the strongest element of it's design. It's a pausable real-time top-down game where you can plan out your actions in advance. The one critisism I have of it is that there's almost no reason for it to be real time, you execute as many actions as possible in the paused mode (Because then your character acts much faster.) Then have little to do until it 'recharges' again.
The way you aquire abilities is also very novel, you pick up defeated friends along the way, storing their unique powers and stories in your sword (Who is another character.)

The largest gripe I have with this game is the lack of plot and character devlopment, don't get me wrong, what there is is amazing. I just want more of it.

Regardless this is an amazing game that is worth way more than the cost of admittance.
