I didn't really like it at first because I approached it like how I did with every other soulsborne gamee which made the first 1-2 hours frustrating. But once I started learning the system and did some matchmaking with randoms, it wasn't as bad as I thought, at least in my experience. I had a lot of fun pairing with randoms and there's only been one or two times I matched with a clueless player who didn't know what to do. It is rogue-like souls and this game can be really addicting because every run is different. There's a lot of decision making and coordination because where you land is random and majority of resources are placed randomly too, so you need to figure out immediately what route the team should take to efficiently go through each day. I think it's something that I welcome in soulsborne and while it's difficult to play potentially due to lack of coordination between teammates, I don't think this is an issue because most of the time everyone usually knows what to do. It's just different from your usual soulsborne game and I can completely understand if soulsborne players who prefer to do solo runs could get turned off by it because teamwork is absolutely necessary to win. (Unless you want to fight a boss for 4 hours with max 7 flasks)

I liked Monster Hunter World and this game has everything I liked about World.

This game has so many things to do and I spend long hours progressing and exploring. I haven't felt playing a game like this in a long time and if you like Minecraft, Pokemon, Breath of the Wild, I think this game is up your alley!
