all in all the story is good and interesting. i thoroughly enjoyed it. can't say much without spoiling so i'll just talk about the gameplay.

as for gameplay, the puzzle solving parts are all good, in fact most of the gameplay is quite fun imo. it's just the combat that i feel is abit jarring/lacking and feels quite limited, but maybe it isn't really suitable for this type of game anyway. but at least you are given the option to skip it.

graphics are quite good for an indie company. however i feel it may not be super optimized cause i experience some framerate drops at certain areas.

tldr; he's such a pretty boy i like. gud gem tq froggowares.

i haven't been addicted to a game in a long while, so yes. it's good.

edit: all jokes aside, i really love this game.

The characters are really well written and the storyline is solid. It really hits like a truck with its storytelling. And the overall immersion of the game is amazing. Each NPC feels really alive and human. They have routines and don't just exist to fill up space in the environment. The sheer amount of dialogue and random encounters, hidden secrets and easter eggs is honestly mind blowing.

As for the animations, personally I don't mind it as I like these sort of realistic details in games, but it's debatable I suppose. Sometimes it can be frustrating to loot enemies especially during ongoing combat when Arthur takes 5 seconds to loot an enemy. (however in Online there is no longer a long loot animation)

Horse steering is also a little bit janky sometimes, I swear it feels like the horses are magnetically attracted to trees at times. But aside from all that, I really enjoy all that Red Dead 2 has to offer.

A solid 9.8/10.
