This is the first Tomb Raider game I've ever played, I didn't play the classic ones, haven't played the first Tomb Raider reboot yet and had no idea what this game was. Okay maybe this is more of my impression playing my first Tomb Raider game rather than a review. But anyway. You know Lara is pretty and all and that's prolly one of my reasons I bought this game and once i got into the story and tried to learn and enjoy every aspect in the game I feel like this is my one of the best games in years.
Basically Lara is just continuing her father's research with her persistence and unbreakable resolve to find an artifact that her dad was after. Throughout the journey we have to solve puzzles that we encountered and they're very interesting. The combat is so-so, just like any other games, but what makes me not feeling bored is the adventure. You see, the world of Tomb Raider is a world full of challenges and puzzles. No wonder I even finished 100% completion.
But there's one more thing that I truly enjoyed and become my favorite part of the game, is that the Croft Manor - Blood Ties story mode. Even tho you wouldn't be adventuring like the main story but you'll get a chance to know the relationship between Lara and her parents, the Croft's legacy and all stories that have happened in the Croft Manor.
Me myself had no lore of any Tomb Raider's background story whatsoever, but this game had me covered.

note : you have to read all the documents to really understand with the story, like I did, lol. I know I spent a lot of time reading those stuff.
worth the $$$

What can I say, it's a masterpiece. Never encountered any bugs as well, still busy killing machines instead of completing the main story.

I'm still having a lot of stuttering and lagging issues, I hope they'll fix it ASAP cus this might be the best racing game I've ever played. Oh yeah and in my country it's cheaper than the Microsoft version, I don't even know what's the difference..

Might be some spoilers ahead so, I’ve warned you. I will be sharing my experiences, thoughts and what I know about this game – Cyberpunk 2077. Of course this will be very subjective. So let’s get started, it all began when I was scrolling through YouTube a few years back, can’t remember the exact year tho. I saw Cyberpunk 2077 trailer and watched it and was thinking to myself that this game’s gonna be a great game once it’s released and I had no doubt that people would think the same. A few months back, as you might already know, CDPR released a bunch of trailers about the game. Of course those hyped up the game even more. I was so excited, wanted more and more trailers just to see how the game will look like. I mean, the guns, cars, cyberwares, SAMURAI and all the futuristic stuff are preem. Not to mention there is Keanu Reeves in the game as Johnny Silverhand (one of my favorite characters). You know, in spite of the delays and all the ups and downs that happened during those days still didn’t change my positive perspective on the game. So I made up my mind and was planning to pre-order the game. On November 26th 2020 I pre-ordered the game, btw this game is the only game that I have ever pre-ordered and I didn’t hesitate.

So, let’s speed up to December 10th when I can finally play the game. My first impression was like – damn the graphic is magnificent, my rig can’t even handle it well lol. I chose nomad for the lifepath and started with female V. Well, I embellished my character with whatever I like. The nomad backstory was fun tho, It’s about V who has left the Bakkers clan and decided to venture to the Night City. She met her client Jackie Welles, whom V will help to deliver the package and pass the border into Night City. A fortune wasn’t on their side and the security knew that the package was an Arasaka’s. They managed to escape and ended up in a small garage, they decided to become a partner of mercenaries and have the same goal – to become a legend in Night City.

I’m already amazed with the prologue, how CDPR wrote the story never cease to amaze me. I’m not gonna tell the whole story cause it’ll take hours. In summary, V became a well-known and well-reputed mercenary after she became a partner with Jackie and did a lot of gigs. The fixers all over Night City have also known V and one day a fixer called Dex asked V to do a heist of a Relic that contains Johnny Silverhand’s psyche. The heist didn’t turn out well and Dex shot V in the head. I think he just doesn’t want to look like he was involved in the heist. Fortunate for V cause she didn’t die – what a surprise. The Relic that contains Johnny’s psyche saved her. But that Relic gradually destroying V’s body and she will eventually lose consciousness, replaced by Johnny’s. So our goal now is to save V’s life in any ways. Throughout V’s journey in finding the best way to save her life, V met a lot of friends. Well, personally I’ve finished all the side quests and pretty sure had the best/positive outcomes, so technically V had become friends with those side-quest characters in the game. I’ve also romanced a character named Judy, she’s the best one, I’m telling you.

The ending part is my favorite, there are some possibilities that you can choose to determine the ending. Well, as I have already mentioned before, V became friends with a character called Panam – she is a nomad too, Aldecaldos Clan. V asked her to help her get into Arasaka Tower and do whatever necessary to save V’s life. Afterwards V’s life saved and the Aldecaldos, Judy and V left Night City for good.

You see, the emotions I felt throughout the game are mixed. CDPR nailed to give such a great story for the players. Especially when this game is first-person gave me more experience as if I was in the game. The dialogue option is an interesting one as well. For it will be different for each lifepath. I just love how CDPR sewed all the aspects in the game to become one such a good game. I’m gonna elaborate a few things that I love the most from the game. First, Johnny Silverhand – I don’t know why some people seem to loathe him, I mean he could be a good friend. He’s that kind of guy who will sacrifice anything for you if you’re being nice to him, but he can be the most-hated scoundrel if you’re messing with him. He’s also a rockerboy which I personally like his personality. Second, Judy Alvarez – She is one of the romanceable characters. She is cute, that’s for sure and she’s a badass. She also has that gorgeous short hair that I really like, xD. She’s a braindance techie at Lizzie’s Bar as well. Third, the combat – Cyberpunk’s combat mechanism is out of the world, beside RDR2. The weapon impacts, sounds, ragdolls, cyberweapons, cyberwares, etc. bring out new experience for players. Fourth, SAMURAI – SAMURAI is a chrome-rock band in the game. Well, the lead singer is Johnny himself. See, I listen to rock and metal everyday and those are my kind of music, so SAMURAI is a perfect band to listen to. Fifth, photo mode – it’ll be rude not to include photo mode in one of the good aspects of the game and this is my favorite thing actually. This might be the best photo mode I’ve ever played in a video game. There are just many cool features you can tweak in Cyberpunk’s photo mode; positioning your character and camera as you like, change the pose of your character, change your face expression, turning on or off your weapon’s muzzle flash, change the background, change the frame, tweaking the effects, add some stickers, and they have also given some presets in photo mode.

Of course when a game has good, positive aspects, there's gotta be some flaws that are in the game too. I’m gonna talk about some that annoyed me. First, you must have known it, I mean it’s so popular out there in social media – bugs. The game has a lot of bugs, I can’t deny that. But CDPR promised to fix them, especially on consoles. I played the game on PC that I’m pretty sure not as bad as on consoles, but I found quite a few bugs that had still occurred and were sometimes getting on my nerves. But some of ‘em were hilarious tho, made me laughed and thought to myself how ridiculous this game is. Second, the NPC – you know how the NPCs are in Cyberpunk, they’re rather “dumb”. When they heard gunshot or something, they were just cowering, didn’t do anything but cowering and when I beat or shot them, as I said before, they cowered, didn’t fight back or something. Yeah maybe that’s not a big deal, wait until you see how the NPCs are driving. As if they were not programmed to drive, they just randomly hit me even if I just walked across the road. Not to mention when I intentionally blocked the road to see how they react and yes just like what I thought, they didn’t do anything but wait for me to unblock it. Even if their surroundings are empty. However, then I realized what happened in the company, about the game developing, the developers, the staff, the investors, the lawsuit, and all that stuff, I understand them. I respect CDPR for trying their best to improve and fix the game. Well I think those are the flaws that quite annoyed me throughout the game.

As you can see in my Steam profile, I’ve played Cyberpunk 2077 (as I’m writing this) for 182.6 hours within 44 days from December 10th to January 22nd. I know that took quite long to finish a single-player game. But I actually love that game despite the flaws. I’ve also finished all the main quests, side quests, gigs, NCPD scanner hustles, all Steam achievements except some ending achievements, collected some cool clothes as well, tried almost all the cyberwares/weapons. So, technically I’ve finished the whole game.

That’s all. I’m looking forward to seeing more upcoming contents, patches, DLCs, even the online mode. I’m pretty sure CDPR can handle the circumstances that are happening now well.

8.7/10

What a fantastic game! I had never found a game better than this one. Spending the whole night exploring some new stuff and finding out how to get the best gears possible, slashing monsters all around the maps merciless, galloping with your horse if you couldn't beat the monsters, stealing food and goods from the houses in the village (even if the house is occupied, don't worry about them, they won't notice you, not one bit. Just take their stuff), completing quests and helping people thus you can level up.

The writing and story is exceptionally amazing. Every character is well developed and has their own background story. The side quests are also not in vain (for instance, a random NPC asks you to do her petty errand and thanks to the good writing, you will be intrigued by the matter). The dialogue choices are vast and will render different reactions and will have a impact to the further quests. You can be a jerk for dating both possible romances (Yen and Triss) or be loyal to one and not to cheat or you will end up being alone. You will be given some time-based dialogue choices that will determine one's crucial fate.

There are still a lot more things and features that will enliven the game. Gwent is one of them (even tho I'm not really fond of it, don't really like card games).
I know I wrote this after the game was released 5 years ago, but who cares? This game still lives until now and people still talking about it.

In conclusion,
very recommended game for you. Especially people who like medieval games/hack and slash games like me.
