I, too, got this at my school's Scholastic fair in third grade. Despite me eventually caving in and using cheats in every single run I have ever done it still is my favorite Civ game (Well technically BTS is my favorite Civ game but we'll get to that later).

The writing is pretty hit or miss. It's one of those games I can see a certain type of person being really into (if you like politics, worldbuilding, some funny hahas) and I don't think it performs any of its strengths poorly. Don't think I would ever play this off stream though.

I still have a lot of problems with where they're taking this story and because of that a lot of concerns for Rebirth. Game would be a 10/10 without time ghosts and that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ending.

Despite its boring dumb story ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ did stealth action peak here I really hope they bring back a lot more stuff from this in DS2
