I enjoy the idea that dying is built into the game. The shield is OP.

It's the OG tactical RPG that's made for grinding and being OP. The best part is that NIS remembers the series and continues to release more games (FF Tactics... sigh)

Just leisurely strolling through the story. Like a visual novel with mechanics and gotcha.

It's a rhythm game with Jpop songs. It's either your thing or it's not. :)

More entertaining than the typical tower defense games.

Great controls. Very reminiscent of Caastlevania 2: Simon's Quest, one of my favorite games, but without the really weird mechanics (like kneeling with an orb for no reason at a specific location). The NSFW aspect is easily ignored.

Fantastic game. It brings back memories of Castlevania and Geometry Wars. Rather addicting and definitely worth it.

Always liked Disgaea and the grind. This is a streamlined version without the map. Good for an hour or so a day.

I'm a fan of naval history. For me, this is about as good as it gets. There are no wooden ships, but what's here is great.

This is a free to play game where you can buy in game currency that can be spent to advance faster, get certain advantages, or get special ships.

There's no need to buy/use the in game currency. That means progress is slow, but I'm pretty casual with this game, so that's not an issue for me.

I mainly play co-op and random battles. Random battles does require you to know the role of your ship type and play accordingly for you and your team to be successful. Once you learn how to be effective in your role, there's great satisfaction in both helping your team and blowing things up.

A small drawback is that with the missions and campaigns, there can be a tendency to focus on those objectives, which may conflict with helping your team win.
